    entertainment £11pcm (was 20pcm)
then can pick extras from following:
    sports 14pcm (was 27.50pcm)

Were you already cancelled down or just out of minimum term?

Just contacted Sky via chat. I cancelled and was due to leave 26th Feb. My deal was Box sets HD and Sports SD, 75% off, £16.38 month. Thought I would see if they had any offers to tempt me to stay. They offered me the same deal for another 12 months, which I accepted. When I originally cancelled the best they would do was 50% off. Quite surprised,
reading other posts, I thought those 75% deals were no longer available.
  • i got offered, 51 phone line, fibre, hd, SKY Q, box sets, entertainment pack, cinema
on a 12 month contract for sky q and tv and multiroom, (on line chat)

when the email came through it changed to 18m sky q 12m tv, and 60.00
called them said i wanted the tv and sky q to run the same time ( so i dont get stuck with equipment in 12m and then have them tuck me up with a massive tv price) Even offered to do a deal on the price as long as they made the contract end the same time even 18m NO. SO IM NOW WITHOUT PHONE FIBRE AND A TV DEAL.
    What shall i do ?
  • I'm currently on Sky Q which is £86 a month for all the channels + Sky Q multiroom (needed for ultra hd). Did the whole threaten to cancel thing via chat as my contract is up in 2 weeks, and was only offered £68 a month with 18 month contract. Have to admit I expected a better offer!

Have since gone through with the cancel and hopefully can get a better deal nearer disconnection date!

Normally I would try and help however I'm having serious problems even understanding your post, your earlier thread at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/73866872#Comment_73866872 just confuses me more.

BTW, there's no need to run 2 different posts on the same subject.

Useless bunch of muppets. Tried calling to take out a new contract when my ex husbands one finishes in March and I can't do that until the service is turned off. Ridiculous.
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
    I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T

Ex has just cancelled SKY sub as it was in his name, finishes on 11th March. (at my request, too expensive as is, as I took over paying it for the last yr he's been gone). When can I rejoin as a new customer? (not specifically to get a 'new' deal, just to have account in my name).

What kind of deal can I expect? I only want the Entertainment package, no add-ons that I can think of. (don't need to have sports, don't watch movies etc.) . I have the very basic box at the moment and don't want to change (although might upgrade to (2nd hand) SKY+ box when move house for the recording facility!). They don't make you upgrade the box with a new contact do they?
    Thanks

If the cancelled service was in ex's name, you could join as a new customer when that has finished and take up any new customer offers?
