I'm currently paying £100 a month for Full House TV with Vivid 150 broadband and Talk More Anytime. The best I was offered when I phoned to cancel was £74.50 per month for the same package with a V6 box to replace my existing 500GB TiVo. I've started the 30 day cancelling process, so we'll see what outgoing retentions have to offer.

Is £74.50 not a good price for everything? I've never had Virgin so genuinely don't have a clue to their pricing.

It includes BT Sport but not Sky Sports or Movies.

Sky offer a similar package for £66 per month, although their broadband is only up to 63 Mbps, compared to Virgin's 150 Mbps. I'm hoping outgoing retentions can offer a better price than £74.50.

I have the same package and was offered the same deal by inbound team, so I've started the 30 days also! Lets see who gets the best deal ;)
  • After waiting 3 weeks for a call for retentions that never came, and with my switch to BT just a few days a way, I called up and had a chat with someone at the call centre.

In the end for 100Mb Broadband I went for £23.23 for 6 months and 26.23 for 12 months, plus £60 cashback. Brings it to around £22/23 a month, which is what I was hoping for.

No idea if retentions would have called but it was cutting it a bit fine.

    Currently paying £60.50/m for:
Full house with Sky Cinema, 200mb BB and Weekend Calls
(Do have discounts running due to not actually making us of the line to call!)

My issue is that I don't use the phone line and have far reduced tv use, as pay for streaming services - hence monthly usage of 280GB (kids eh!)

Called up with intention to cancel and once I verified my account, automated message saying they can see my account has been advised of the increase (£4.50/m) and they'd like to offer a discount for the next 6 months of £6/m - could accept or hold to speak to someone.

Chose to hold and I've been offered this:
TV Mix, 200mb BB and Weekend Calls
£37/m - quick check and new customer is £52/m for the same

Said I'd think about it, which they said they'd note the offer on my account .................... for the minimal TV/Phone use it still seems too high but when I consider the BB usage, maybe its not?

    VIVID 100 Optical Fibre
    Fun Bundle

    Total - £36.44
