Round and round the overdraft....soon to be no more

No walk this weekend- we were going to go tomorrow but my parents shed roof blew off during the high winds on Wednesday evening. They are currently on a cruise and not back until early March.
So tomorrow we have to go and empty the shed. My DP managed to get the roof roughly back on but it’s not ideal and there are gaps in the roof. There are so many expensive things in there, so we have to go before the rain comes that’s forecast on Sunday!
My parents are oblivious as they sail around South America!0 -

We met my brother over there and reassessed the damage in the daylight. It’s actually not too bad and doesn’t appear to have leaked. My brother is going to go over again on Monday and bang a few more nails in just to make sure.0

Today is NSD 11 for January. I’m into my overdraft now and payday is another 9 days away, although I do get my child maintenance on Friday which will help.
I could use my savings but my overdraft is free up to £250so as long as I’m sensible going into Feb I should be ok.
Managed to save a bit too this month and I’ve just put 9 things on eBay, only silly little things but even if I make £20-30on them it’s better than nothing.0 -
Fingers crossed on the eBay sales Louby xxMummytogirls x0

Ebay sales are up to £30. I’m amazed as they are all bits of rubbish.
My old Fitbit is at £18, loads of cross-stitch stuff is at £9 or so, then a Nintendo DS with no charger and an Nintendo DS game. They don’t finish until Sunday afternoon.
It astounds me what people will buy.
Up to 12 NSD! Really skint now. Payday soon!0 -
Total ebay sales currently stand at £45 with over 28 hours to go.
13NSD so far. Spent £53 in Aldi and £16 in Tesco.
Pay Day on Wednesday but child maintenance yesterday for my son has helped slightly.
Need to buy him school shirts, plus hair colour on Friday, my birthday on the 6th and friends coming over the Friday after. Going to London for a few nights in February half term.0 -
