I'll second that too....and apologies Hampy....I always though Stanley was a dog!
but I can now see he's a very refined and handsome cat.
Me too lol but the worse thing was when I saw the pic it didn t register with me that he was a cat  I ll blame tiredness
Good Morning all
I ve had a busy strenuous week DIY ing outside , today I need to cut the wood up into smaller pieces with my elec saw and put some border paper all round the top of the wall , go to town , fill in a massive form and this is an easy day.
Tomorrow I hope to go to Shrewsbury to sell my iPhone 4s as I have a 5c one now which suits me well enough.
Hi to long lost Nellie lol0 -

Morning all - overnight rain here too but dry now, no sun though.
Off to have eye test today as woke up yesterday with the top half of my left eye all bloodshot. Just wondered if it's due to my exploding fan maybe a fragment hit my eye. No pain or irritation.
Hope your friend copes with her train journey Nanna - I hate the tube since I got stuck in a tunnel years ago.
Have a good one! x0 -

. Vet did say it will be harder for us to watch. What awful injuries your cat had Sarahdol bless him.
Evening luvlies, thanks for all the good wishes for Stan's recovery, he's managing very well so far and not cried at all yet. Thanks for thinking of him too tweets, you're all so :A
He's been discharged with pain relief and antibiotics and booked in for a check up next week. Hoping he carries on being a good little patient bless him.
I was lent a small dog crate by DH's cousin this morning and then one of my friends turned up this afternoon with another one so we've wired them together with the doors open to give him a bit more space so there's room for his litter tray, food and water and a little bed. This will be fine until I collect my large one from Argos tomorrow (ordered from eBay and paid £30 less than Argos are charging
).
Pic below is before we had 2 together. Look at his little chicken leg bless him :heart2:
Off for a little catch up and to dig out the paella pic TM
Morning all, hope everyone is well. Wishing lovely Stanley a speedy recovery. I too remember doing this for my cat with a broken pelvis from an rta. Used to set alarm through night to give her the pain killers bless her. Missed so much lately and wanted to say congratulations to TM's dd, couldn't see the photo as was on my phone and just an edge of it was showing. Hope AJ is doing well xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Slightly annoyed here. We have accepted we have had mice in the garden for years, never caused us any problems so we left them to it.
Last night one decided to jump up through the French windows and disappear into the study. Have tried to catch him, set a bowl up rigged to fall down when he went to get the strawberry under it, come down this morning to the bowl down, but the strawberry and the stick holding it up missing
Unfortunately have come to the conclusion that we have to get some traps. If we just catch and release he will just come back in nowWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

If only it were that simple. For "study" read dumping ground of anything from circuit boards to components to boxes, and extremely cluttered! I also have my freezer in there. It could not have picked a worse room to disappear into! I think I would rather have a mouse in there than an excited cat :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
