Good morning peeps.....It's another beautiful sunny start to the day here.....:D
Trusting you are all well, up and running and enjoying the start of the day.....
Just popped in for a quick message....
Deadline to dig out old paper £5 notes.........If you have any tucked away in drawers, under your mattress, piggy banks or wherever else you may tuck them away.......Its time to get them out....They cease to become legal tender from tomorrow....
Have a good day.....[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

Morning all
Hope everyone is coping nicely, what a day of ups and mostly downs yesterday.
2 weeks on I still have the remnants of the dreaded lurgy - ears still bad but throat and cough almost good and sleeping at night :j Gawd this is dragging on ...
a bit upsetting start to the morning, back later. Its funny how small things set you off - Errant son chucked the wooden steps out in the garden last night so he is tasked with tidying the porch this morning to get it back into some sort of order. he steps were one of the few things that came from my Dads house and they have
lived in the porch ever since ...
Then i caught some of the rumour and speculation from the French media and it really set me off but fortunately I had a big cough and nose blow to do ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I will just put this out there, but speculation on who each one of us is on here and whether we had a past life (AE) is speculation - we are all usernames and could therefore be anyone including new users. I think it can be counter productive to make assumptions, as thinking someone is someone else can only lead to a deterioration in the atmosphere and could lead to the wrong conclusions.
Please play nicely.

especially your formal jackets that you only wear on high days and holidays, the jackets with change from taxi trips and bus fares, mens jackets in particular ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
