mhoc - you need tax deduction certificates if you need to do self-assessment not the annual statements. So far tsb are the only ones in my inbox the rest are much later coming out some as late as august so the tax return hangs about which annoys me. The annual statements will not show any tax deducted if I am right. Hth.

Had to laugh tonight when sainsbury's profits have gone down around 8 per cent but they will try not to pass on price increases to their customer. Wonder why all their basic stuff is now double the price of the other supermarkets.

Good point about the annual statements not arriving for months - hence the mild worry today about keeping paperwork together. I am not expecting a self assessment form but things do tend to go askew around here so we have to be ready for all eventualities :)

Sainsburys - well no wonder their profits are suffering - gradual price increases, brand match stopped, mycoupons gradually phased out ...

Not 100% sure but did the job have someone else's name on it and the company were just going through the motions?

    yes exactly.
Boss didn't even do the formal interview bit - just an informal chat on a sofa.
I don't know, neither of us have enough knowledge or experience of how interviews are normally done and I know every company has a different method of doing things but even so ...

Oh no, sorry it did not work. Odd that it has changed late in the day given a positive report late this afternoon followed by two fails. I understood W (like A, T and S) updated in the morning only - but then it has not been clear why this was stuck in the system (and for so long).

Shame I didn't get my shop in earlier this week :(

Not sure if known - 20% on Am4zon Warehouse deals - automatically applied at the checkout .

Worth checking as I have always found excellent deals on there.

How many shops did you get done today then?
    lol
    None.

I dont refuse or return, I dont consider that "honourable".
So I did six shops over six weeks, got lucky with stockouts twice, ended up £-5.33 for 22 razors.

Anything at negative cost tickles me, the wife and daughter will save £££, and I've scratched an itch.

My feet were cold on the plane. I put socks on. I took the socks off shortly before landing. And of course you know what happened...

Good afternoon haven't read back as I have been awol for a few weeks now
The reason being I had blood took out of my arm at hospital

The nurse accidentally hit a nerve I think and both my legs kicked out in reaction and knocked her trolley flying

Went to Tosco ON WAY HOME BUT BEFORE I GOT HOME FINGERS WERE GOING NUMB

So I went up to bd elevated and thought be ok in the morning

How wrong I walked the floor all night in pain and called the Doctor for a home visit the next morning sent straight to hospital

Treated with anti biotics anti inflams and pain killers

Still I have no grip in my right hand hense I have not been on here trying to keep hand elevated and rested

I know once I get on hours pass by like a blink of an eye so I am just doing this post and then resting again

I hope everyone is well and that I have missed some great glitches

Hello perky, good to see you post again :T. I was just asking the other day if anyone had seen you post as I was a little worried as to where you were.

No one replied so I thought nobody knew where you were, or I'm on ignore still :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Get well soon xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
