fish shop compared ok. Sorry for delay, was dealing with getting medication for my mum. Doctor has prescribed some sleeping pills for mum as she is up all night and asleep all day despite us trying to keep her awake during the day.
Local hospice phoned and said they "may" offer mum a bed there for a few nights next week to monitor her sleeping pattern.
Got a gut feeling she will be staying there as she is deterioating faster now :(

The local hospice was invaluable for when FiL was really bad.

Caribbean - I too would love some photos to make me jealous!
mhoc - you need tax deduction certificates if you need to do self-assessment not the annual statements. So far tsb are the only ones in my inbox the rest are much later coming out some as late as august so the tax return hangs about which annoys me. The annual statements will not show any tax deducted if I am right. Hth.

Had to laugh tonight when sainsbury's profits have gone down around 8 per cent but they will try not to pass on price increases to their customer. Wonder why all their basic stuff is now double the price of the other supermarkets.

    :)

    And we are home.

Fabulous day, had Plus Bus on our train tickets so we visited T K Maxx & GAP outlet, Primark & Krispy Kreme :D before visiting time.

My sister is doing really well.
Asleep when we got there, I did have a text at 3.15am to ask me to bring Arnica :)
It seems she has slept all day :o Anyway, nurses woke her up to move her into a ward with nice window view & a breeze.
Amazing 'wound' full of staples & a drain.
I do have a photo but not for the squeamish ;)

Off out again now for Charity Bingo for Air Cadets :)

Glad your sisters doing well must be scary also mhoc s sister.

Hi trulymadly - I am still here and lurking! Read every day would love to post more but just quickly scan through. I wish I could read everybody's post throughly but sometimes there are so many like tonight when everyone is having problems other than moneysaving.
Still addicted to whoopsies but it is harder work now. Did manage to get a trolley load of bedding plants 10p each tonight but now it has rained hard I expect the slugs are out there waiting!
Thanks everyone for the tips on the boiler. Had a local company and seem to have done a good job. Radiators now burning hot and house gets warmer quicker. Even needed the heating on today as down south so miserable! Not very moneysaving.

Do you ever get these lovely photos put on canvas for your home? They would look amazing. We have one in our lounge from one of our holidays and I love it. Really struggle to find nice pictures but these can look really tasteful
