And to be fair at 95, he deserves a rest.
The way they keep changing pensions and increasing the Normal Retirement Age, many of us younger ones on here could be waiting until we are 95...

I know.
62 and still having to work is no fun at all. (I got badly bitten by the recession and single person/single income for 30 years doesn't give anyone a chance to get ahead.)
I've told my DD that on top of her pension, she also needs to arrange some sort of funding for her pre-retirement years, because to be honest, you just don't feel like working full-time in your 60s.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

true, thank goodness it wasnt what was speculated - really annoyed by the foreign press rumour mongering- really sent me off course this morning.
it is ridulous a 95 doing official duties - there are some of the minor royals that are def not pulling their weight ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Good morning everyone.

1000 nectar points (worth £5) on EVERY purchase at photobox until 17th May
I just saw this offer on my nectar app
Link your nectar card to your photobox account
Use code (from my post on the discount board) at checkout and get 1,000 nectar points on all purchases at photobox until 17th May
Points will be awarded within 28 days
There is no minimum spend mentioned in the T&Cs
The cheapest item I can find is a single print for 12p plus delivery of £1.99. So for a £2.11 outlay you get nectar points with a minimum face value of £5
Can anyone find anything cheaper?
edit: i've updated my post on the codes board to include screenshots of the T&CsApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Passenger in the car while DH drives so thought I'd place an A order. Just added a previous shop to my trolley and it's come up with this product not available. Was previously in the 2 for £7 multi in my previous shop. Don't know if it means anything (trigger?). Can't check myself as in the car for a few hours

I think this was the multi it was in

The one in your link, Felix As Good As It Looks Doubly Delicious Senior Pouches in Jelly 12x100, is in stock for me so it looks like it's oos in your local.
So shouldn't act as a trigger as far as I know.N1LDA0 -

I didn't feel like working full-time in my 20, 30, 40s either!
but needs must
Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it we're all living longer and someone has to pay for pensions, NHS and social care and the burden falls on those in work.
Pensions were brought in when life expectancy was under 60 it's now nearer mid 80's and rising,
the state pension age needs to rise further but successive govt have ducked out of it..."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Of course, the other inequality needs sorting out too. The retirement age of women.
Women live on average longer than men, therefore men should be able to retire at a younger age than women......Discuss“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
