Good afternoon, well done to Dr tinyshoes 🍾🍾, emerald the sensors for parking aid just pop out of the bumper panel so shouldn't need to be replaced. Lejc if you need to, get someone like accident exchange involved, I believe there are other companies, we used them when my ds car was hit by a school bus, the teacher driving it denied it was him, unfortunately for him I knew the mum of one of his pupils and the whole bus load were willing to land him in the poo😂, and gave witness against him but accident exchange were very good in this case.

Thanks Izz....The neighbour has been round this afternoon and I think is satisfied that they hit the car....although I'm getting the feeling that they would like to do things without involving the insurance company...so for us to get a quote.
Clearly I dont think they value their car enough to go hrough insurers to repair.

I now need to pass the insurance details on to DS who apparently needs to speak to the insurers to agree the work...although the sticking point that we may have is that the insurers want to use an approved repair centre and not the car dealership which is concerning us a little as it may invalidate the remaining warranty on the car as it's less than 2 years old.
I'm wondering if it might be just as easy to get a quote from the dealership as it appears its just a swap out/swap in of the whole back plastic section of the car...that way the neighbour might be happier as it's not going to increase their premiums and we get the work done by the dealership....

DS took it all quite well

that does seem quite a low salary MHOC....maybe its re viewable after a probation period or there are meals included whilst on shift etc....or indeed some other benefit that wont be disclosed until the interview.

Its very difficult to know what to do for the best, whether to take agency jobs which may pay more but ultimately it's not where he see's his career going or whether to just suck up a low salary so it acts as experience going forward on a CV in his chosen work.

Either way I hope something good comes out of the interview earlier in the week ....

Yes I've been checking all of the small print on the job descriptions in particular since Errant son did the interview in mid wales (which we are even more convinced was a set up job)

So I asked Errant son to send me the link and this one in Exmoor (well Devon anyway) has to be about the worst one yet for overly grand expectations of candidate qualifications.
They ideally want someone used to working with horses or able to be trained in suchlike ( which probably means a lot of brushing and mucking out etc).
Then under the essential categories there are all the usual certs everyone else asks for but in addition power boating qualifications and dingy qualifications.
Under desired qualifications someone experienced in archery and bush craft (Errant son has the right certs for the later 2 but I don't think he has done any teaching or very little in these)

Well good luck to them in finding a candidate with all of the requirements because I doubt if they will find someone that ticks every single box.

Its also working with less abled children which Errant son has done before so he has experience but I don't think everyone would have this.

For this they were paying £15,600 for the first 3 months while in training , then £16,1000 for the next 9 months and if you managed to survive a year it went up to £16,800 :(

On the plus side they give you lunch when working, no mention of shifts, evenings and weekends even though this is normal working practice and there is accommodation but there is a fee for this.

Just had a look and its about half an hour out of Barnstaple, 20 mins out of Ilfracombe so you would have to live on site - I can imagine the roads being difficult in the winter months.
It looks a very beautiful part of the world to live in but quite isolated. Its about 4 hours from us (4 hours and 5 hours to where the other 2 live so it would def be once a year visits, even Southampton is over 3 hours drive away ...)
I think we have relatives in Barnstaple - but very strange ones :D

Good afternoon haven't read back as I have been awol for a few weeks now
The reason being I had blood took out of my arm at hospital

Went to Tosco ON WAY HOME BUT BEFORE I GOT HOME FINGERS WERE GOING NUMB

So I went up to bd elevated and thought be ok in the morning

How wrong I walked the floor all night in pain and called the Doctor for a home visit the next morning sent straight to hospital

Treated with anti biotics anti inflams and pain killers

Still I have no grip in my right hand hense I have not been on here trying to keep hand elevated and rested

I know once I get on hours pass by like a blink of an eye so I am just doing this post and then resting again

I hope everyone is well and that I have missed some great glitches

DS took it all quite well

Last year I reversed off my drive into a parked car, just didnt see it at all, until I hear the "crunch", it was a neighbours car. I reported it to them straightaway and the insurance company. I damaged mine quite a bit but not a lot of damage on theirs. My car got repaired theirs, didnt, as wasnt enough damage to warrant a repair.

The insurance company used an approved repair centre, and it doesnt invalidate your warranty on your car at all. My car was less than 2 years old aswell. Hth.

Get quotes from the dealership anyway - it may be that the insurance company will let you do that and then after paying, you pass the bill onto them - its got to be worth a try at asking them anyway :)

Is everyone is aware that on Greenjinn there is 70p cashback when you buy Ecover Fabric conditioner 750ml in Sainsbobs

Also on COS you can also get 70p cashback for the same item

so £1.40 cashback in total :j

They cost £2.25 so the final value is 85p for 25 washes

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=ecover%20fabric%20conditioer

Its a huge pity that the big 50 wash bottle is £2.50, only 25p more

Also on Shopimum got the Zeo bottles which are £2 but you get £1.50 cashback making them a very acceptable 50p each - quite posh looking bottles, these would be good for picnics :D

Our massive sainsbob only has 2 flavours -it doesn't stock the raspberry cranberry version which is a pity.
The receipt only says zeo so in theory you could scan your receipt and then upload online where there is no need for the barcode
