that does seem quite a low salary MHOC....maybe its re viewable after a probation period or there are meals included whilst on shift etc....or indeed some other benefit that wont be disclosed until the interview.

Its very difficult to know what to do for the best, whether to take agency jobs which may pay more but ultimately it's not where he see's his career going or whether to just suck up a low salary so it acts as experience going forward on a CV in his chosen work.

Either way I hope something good comes out of the interview earlier in the week ....

It's been another 50p reduction day at our local S on the toiletries section but as with previous "events" the labels are there but the shelves are bare!

but you could just check the M spa various olay and possibly loreal lotions and potions(day and night cream looked like it was £1.50 from £10)
I guess someone has to be lucky enough to find this stuff....other than the staff.

I came away having spent nothing.....

our excess is £150....its not so much the fact that we have to pay the excess,it's more that next year when the insurance is due for renewal premiums are very likely to go up and DS will lose his NCD....Thats likely to hit hard because he only passed his test 18 months ago and is still only 19....

In some ways if he had damaged the car whilst driving I would have said "lesson learnt" and get him to suck up the additional costs ....but the poor chap is 300 miles away and left his car here for safe keeping!
The unfairness is that some people just don't have a conscience.

I hadn't thought about the camera sensors ....I think they are around the numberplate area so I'm off to have a check of those now.

ETA...They all see ok and the camera works too....it seems thats all mounted at the top of the numberplate under a casing so well protected.I can however see what appers to be an almost perfect imprint of the other cars fog lamp scratched right into the bumper so there must have been quite an impact.

Did someone just drive into your car too?

Yes but we don't know who. I can understand how hard it ll be for your son with rising insurance costs. These are sensors that beep when you get near to anything don't know if it's a camera as well .:(

Hiya TM (and everyone else of course:D)
I'm in my usual holiday spot :D 84 degrees today, gentle breeze, blue skies with the odd white fluffy cloud, waves lapping on the beach below the balcony, fresh picked bananas in the fruit bowl, idyllic and I love it. Pics available if anyone is interested?
Regarding your geraniums TM, I'd get rid of them in the bin. Not worth risking contamination that may possibly affect the other plants.
Hope all are well. Just going to have a read and catch up.

Sounds horrible :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Im just jealous, pics would be very much appreciated.
bubbs will be pleased :D I'm sure she thought she was going doolally yesterday staring at a white screen no one else could see :rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning folks :D

Got a busy day ahead. Selected images for our end of degree show, they are being printed A0 which is quite scary as i've never had anything printed so big. I remember having palpations when my firs A3 print came out the printer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Got to print my specialist portfolio as well.

Edit: I take it you'll all be coming to the show? :D

Of course we will all be there.

LEJC and Emerald, sorry to hear of your car troubles.

My bugbare is people banging car doors in carparks and they dont care, if I see someone and I have phone or anything handy to write on I do put a note on the peoples car that they have hit. I hate it, so annoying you pay a lot of money for a car for other people to treat it like trash, I am so careful where I park always try to get an end space so I can have just that little extra room so I can open doors without getting anything banged.

    Hope you get it sorted.

Good afternoon, well done to Dr tinyshoes 🍾🍾, emerald the sensors for parking aid just pop out of the bumper panel so shouldn't need to be replaced. Lejc if you need to, get someone like accident exchange involved, I believe there are other companies, we used them when my ds car was hit by a school bus, the teacher driving it denied it was him, unfortunately for him I knew the mum of one of his pupils and the whole bus load were willing to land him in the poo😂, and gave witness against him but accident exchange were very good in this case.

Good afternoon haven't read back as I have been awol for a few weeks now
The reason being I had blood took out of my arm at hospital

The nurse accidentally hit a nerve I think and both my legs kicked out in reaction and knocked her trolley flying

Went to Tosco ON WAY HOME BUT BEFORE I GOT HOME FINGERS WERE GOING NUMB

So I went up to bd elevated and thought be ok in the morning

How wrong I walked the floor all night in pain and called the Doctor for a home visit the next morning sent straight to hospital

Treated with anti biotics anti inflams and pain killers

Still I have no grip in my right hand hense I have not been on here trying to keep hand elevated and rested

I know once I get on hours pass by like a blink of an eye so I am just doing this post and then resting again

I hope everyone is well and that I have missed some great glitches
