bubbs will be pleased :D I'm sure she thought she was going doolally yesterday staring at a white screen no one else could see :rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning folks :D

Got a busy day ahead. Selected images for our end of degree show, they are being printed A0 which is quite scary as i've never had anything printed so big. I remember having palpations when my firs A3 print came out the printer :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Got to print my specialist portfolio as well.

Edit: I take it you'll all be coming to the show? :D

I would definitely have come along Westie if I lived closer, you're work amazes me and it's a subject I'm intrigued with, such beautiful sights through ds3s telescope, wow.

A0, is scary but I'm sure all will be fine, fingers crossed for you though xx

    Good morning Elite :hello:

Not many hours of sleep for me last night, and I need to go to Asda at some point. My joints and muscles are much calmer this morning but I'm not going to be dashing around the store  :rotfl:

Wednesday already  DS4 comes for tea after work tonight as his DGF will be working until 10pm  shepherds pie, a massive one so DS3 can take enough home for DGF and for him for work tomorrow. They have a microwave he can use :T

Happy shopping folks, hope you find something good :D

Hugs to the Elite poorly and those low in spirit. You're all in my thoughts xx

Good morning all, overcast and cool here.

Hoping to finish off the kitchen today, one bit of glossing left to do and a lot of shelf cleaning and putting back up, tiles and cupboards to clean too.

Slightly annoyingly I couldn't get a new pin board yesterday, I've got it into my head that I want a fabric one rather than cork because I saw a super one in Costco that was too big, now have to find an equivalent one in a smaller size for a price I am willing to pay

I have been trying to read, but not posting because there are so many people suffering at the moment and I don't want to bring the thread down by just posting doom and gloom.

Mum is home from hospital once again. They didn't find anything major, but has lots of abnormal blood test, so many outpatient appointments and test to come.
I had a complete meltdown a few days ago after telling her I could get tired, upset and cross as well as her. She cried and wailed like a wounded animal and looked like she was going to have a heart attack.
I feel broken and destroyed. Walking on eggshells, but will continue to do all I can.

Unfortunately when I am really stressed I shop and eat through the night.
Those Walkers Crisps aren't doing me any favours, sure you're not meant to eat a 6 pack in one go,Salt&Vinegar and Pickled Onion are giving me a very sore tongue.

Sue, this thread is a fantastic support system, come on here and have a moan.

It is very hard looking after a parent. I remember when my mum was terminally ill, she would not allow us to get a nurse in (even though father's work provided health insurance that covered it) and I missed out on a lot of social things during that year, it was down to me and my father as my father said my brothers should not miss out on life  If they had taken their fair share I might have had a social life, they even stole my 20th birthday trip out, I had taken the day off , but my father then announced I was staying home to look after mum because he was going into work  Admittedly he nearly lost his job because someone had to look after her, but he refused to make my brothers do their fair share. The awful thing was that she had turned into a bitter woman by that point and did nothing but moan. Yes, she was very ill, but if only she had accepted a nurse we might have had a chance at life.

Annoyingly, at some point in that year my older brother managed to move out. I had to reassess my life totally, and I had to admit to myself that wedding plans I had made had actually been just in order to get away from a home life I hated. So that wedding got cancelled, I would have been way too young and I was way too bitter at that point.

Oh my, I sound so bitter don't I, but it was a very tense homelife so I understand well that people with MH problems would really struggle with that sort of set up.

Sue, your mum understandably wants the world to revolve around her at the moment, but she has to be made to understand that you need a life and need to get away from the tensions at home. Please take it from me, you need a break and you need help, if we had had help my life would have been VERY different.

I'm in my usual holiday spot :D 84 degrees today, gentle breeze, blue skies with the odd white fluffy cloud, waves lapping on the beach below the balcony, fresh picked bananas in the fruit bowl, idyllic and I love it. Pics available if anyone is interested?
Regarding your geraniums TM, I'd get rid of them in the bin. Not worth risking contamination that may possibly affect the other plants.
Hope all are well. Just going to have a read and catch up.

    :A Saversue

I've slept deeply & feel refreshed for our hospital visit today.

Catching an early train so I can post parcels, unforeseen eBay clash of time.
But fortunately all paid so that is one less stress :)
looks like a nice day outside :)

I don't think even her tongue could remove some of the tiny speckles of gloss paint that seem to have strayed onto my face and hands
