on the subject of blackened toe nails Eldest child suffered a netball injury resulting in a bruised and damaged big toenail. It went all the rainbow colours over the weeks but as wedding week approached she got worried as it was very slow heeling and the toe nail itself seemed to be loosening.
Inevitably the nail came away altogether the night before the big day, huge panic that things were not totally perfect, so she painted her toe in nail varnish where the nail would have been so it would match the rest :rotfl:
Not that a single person ever noticed or commented on the weird big toe under the wedding dress :)

Elite culinary experts I need your opinion pretty pretty please

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/porkchorizoandbutter_90830

what I want to do its get to step 5 of putting everything together and then transfer it to the stew pot, put this into the fridge until we get back and then put the stew pot into a very slow oven for 45 mins or so - do you think this would work?

Also what liquid can I use instead of wine - I have no cider opened and no apple juice either so it might just have to be water or possibly veg stock ...

OH hates my culinary efforts but if I have everything prepared and ready to go into the oven so all he has to do is mash then he cant complain :D

    :)

Laid in bed :o dreading the day ahead of ironing all that fabric flat..
plus I'll have to measure them & catalogue them & weigh them & find somewhere to stash them.... woe is me :rotfl:

I was looking for a basic plastic garden chair, upright, drainage hole in seat, sturdy..
Found one yesterday in Charity Shop £2.50 & it is perfect, nice wide seat for a bigger posterior :o no squeezing of thighs against arms :D
Anyway I lugged it over to Sister's shop & sat in it whilst chatting to her customers :D
Resulting in me volunteering to run the shop whilst she is incapacitated  :D

    You are a star :j

Please can I ask what flavours you got - I am worried about jars not being matched by Sada.

I am thinking of getting the 2 freebies from COS
    butchers choice trays
    tate and lyle golden granulated

so that's 8 with the baby food plus 15p canned rice puddings and bottled water and a few odds and sods ...

and the free pizza MOCs which I hope our little store stocks ...

Also that's helped me to decided in which direction to go in this afternoon and I've got a food bank bag to drop off :)

yes this is part of the underlying worry, I dread anything happening to my eyes, one I have near perfect sight and one is virtually useless ...
