Morning all - hope everyone is well and coping.

I am still full of the dreaded lurgy, now day 7. Last evening my eyes started streaming like the irrigation system had gone wild. At various points in the night I was waking up and using cotton wool and water to unglue my eye lashes that had melded my eyes shut. I can remember doing this a few times when the kids were tiny and in the midst of some nasty virus but Ive never had to unglue myself.
This morning Ive got the pink bloodshot look of a startled rabbit that has been out all night.
now my sense of taste and smell has gone, the throat is still bad, the nose is streaming, the tickle cough is worse at night ...
Probably Ive got 2 or 3 nasties all running riot concurrently
And only one lem sip left

Apart from that the sun is shining and it looks glorious outside but cold, the snow we had yesterday started to melt about 11 ...

By the sound of it you need to go to see the doc. Antibiotics, eye drops definitely. I had glued eyes a month ago, used drops for two weeks, now the booger is back

I used to go fairly often years ago emerald, before I got married. I used to love going shopping there and lunch down by the river. When the sun is shining down by the river, there is nowhere nicer :D

Sounds wonderful lol hope you get better soon . Think I ll go to Chester today just because I can:) for a look round and a free bus ride. Not just yet though as I don't want to get mixed up with the school kids who are as tall as me :p

Good Morning all and Nellie :D

Good idea :D You def would not want me joining you in my current state, I think I need to walk around with a bell shouting unclean, unclean :rotfl:
. Go and have a look at the charity shops and see if you can find any good sales anywhere - sometimes Marks has a hidden rail.
I cant think what the piture and piano free drink is this month or if there is one yet?

    Thank you izzey:A

So wish I had time to look through these:o

Some of the slowpot mixes are quite nice and some compare to M:T

Mhoc.....are they worth getting for some stew mixes for hungry son?

I am always wary of the Morries comparisons though TM, would rather go for tesco :)

I remember months back, kicked my barefoot on the edge of a heavy box. Nail turned black but it bled when I knocked it so put micropore tape on it to give a little protection. It eventually dropped off and I had a new nail :) xx

Also Marks dine £10 meal deal this week.

Quidco give you an extra 10% for converting into Marks e vouchers - does anyone know how long the process takes?
So you would only need to convert £9 which makes it slightly better

There is a lemon chicken on the list this week, which will be useful depending on its size plus it mentions ice cream but no mention of flavours - has anyone been yet to inspect?

Also I am wondering if any wines are on offer eg 2 for £12

I need to go to Mr T, Sainsbobs and Marks, all in different directions so I have to decide on just one ....

I am starting to think this myself, its been going on too long now and steadily getting worse. I think I will give them a ring and see if they can fit me in, its only 10 mins up the road and a nice walk if I can avoid getting run over.
I hate going to the docs, I never even get colds never mind this ...

Are the edges of upper tee lids red? Yes? I had that and got drops.

Unglued eyes, tip from my doc. A small amount of baby shampoo and water, rub into eye lashes, rinse. Repeat morning and bedtime. Yes it works but does not cure xx
