Forgotten my manners. Good evening all.

Snap, my best wishes to your sister. x

Mhoc, I'd get in dozens of 15p cans of rice pudding from T or A or similar, my DGD aged 8 and thin as a lath can often eat almost a whole one after a busy day, so I'd assume a young man might manage two cans at a time.

Things are moving fast for DD, the letting agent has been, photos are done and they reckon she'll get 8-900 pcm no problem, as it's 'well above average' (their words) and also in one of their sought-after areas. Tonight I was told to fill my freezer from hers, bit early for that yet, but I will do it a bit nearer the time.

canned rice pud is a really good idea - Errant son eats it with a can of tinned peaches as a snack. I think I need to be bulk buying this.
I got quite a few of the tropical canned fruit in cans from Marks when they were cheap but he hasn't tried these yet
Earlier in the week he was eating soup and canned rice for lunch - strange combination.

I am contemplating some sort of casserole which I can get ready before Oh comes home so there is no discussion about it. I can fill a bowl incase Errant son gets back or whatever time he does get back. But I only have pork ...

Morning all - hope everyone is well and coping.

I am still full of the dreaded lurgy, now day 7. Last evening my eyes started streaming like the irrigation system had gone wild. At various points in the night I was waking up and using cotton wool and water to unglue my eye lashes that had melded my eyes shut. I can remember doing this a few times when the kids were tiny and in the midst of some nasty virus but Ive never had to unglue myself.
This morning Ive got the pink bloodshot look of a startled rabbit that has been out all night.
now my sense of taste and smell has gone, the throat is still bad, the nose is streaming, the tickle cough is worse at night ...
Probably Ive got 2 or 3 nasties all running riot concurrently
And only one lem sip left

Apart from that the sun is shining and it looks glorious outside but cold, the snow we had yesterday started to melt about 11 ...

    Late start for me:)

    We have snow:eek:

Amazingly we've gone through the whole winter with only one bad day and here we are the end of April and the rooftops are covered with snow.

    DM wouldn't believe it....and on a hump day too:D

Evans have quite a good selection of shoes and ankle boots starting from £10 and £15 in their sale plus 8% Quidco.

The boots are all man made, nothing leather but as this winter seems to be dragging onwards £15 ankle boots might be a good stop gap.

also a few flat sandals for £15.

I always got my boots from Evans as they were wide enough for my little fat legs but all of our local shops closed - I think Liverpool is our closest and only store now.
