We had roast turkey and stuffing balls on Easter Sunday, if there had been any pigs in blankets hanging around I would have snaffled them too. ;)

We had a turkey Christmas dinner with pigs in blankets, the full works, crackers everything on Easter Sunday.

    :)

Don't want to bore you with my diary of life but for those that are following it - here is yesterday's entry :)

The course of treatment agreed by my sister & the surgeon is ~

Surgery as soon as possible to cut out the cancerous lymph nodes, which may involve cutting nerve to her smile or one to her shoulder. Also another lump found under her chin so that will be cut out at same time. So a cut from ear going down neck & round under chin.
3 weeks after she will start chemoradiotherapy to zap the cancer on the base of her tongue & anything remaining in her neck :)

She has to be off work for 3 months. So we need to get her finances in order, as things are going to be tough.

I did for a while - I had about 3 replacements due to faults so when the guarantee year ran out and they refused to replace it again I got a cheap version from Amazon, no problems since

Thanks hun, only paid £20 for a new version as a gift, she will be bored with it in no time so as long as it gets replaced for the first year if it goes wrong that will be fine ;)

    :)

The surgeon was lovely. Very dry humour & bossy.
He let us view her scan, showing the lumps in her neck & the new under chin one.

Then he let us see the glossy photos of her tongue cancer

    so there we go :)
