    I did ask yesterday, please has anybody got any ideas about mobile sim cards for Canada. Me and DD don't have a clue. :o Need a good deal as she will be there 2 months, what do other people's offspring do when they go on their travels?

    Just buy a sim once she's in the country. Thats what my brother generally does (he did in NZ) then ditch the sim when travel is over. Usually works out cheaper. I'm sure she can pass on her temporary new number to important people.

    Sorry i dont know but when i went to India i bought an Indian sim as was so much cheaper

    So sorry, just had best mate who lives in Canada on the phone and forgot to ask, we usually keep in touch via phone calls on facebook messenger. don't know if that helps, but it costs us nowt!

    On a similar note, friends daughter in NZ found it cheaper to buy a car carand then sell it on/ditch it, rather than rent
