HB have broken chocolate bits 300g for 89p in place of the chocolate buttons (250g). Not as practical to eat while driving, as they do mean bits, but 89p for 300g of Dairy Milk is great value and 50g extra in these packs.

Have you seen the foil wrapped balls in same design bags. 69p.
    My guess is kinnertons?
    Quite nice though.

anyway I gave myself a good talking to a few days ago and I am determined to soldier onwards and not fall into a slough of despond

Eldest son and his GF came back from the Lake District last night so they stayed over as they were going to a furniture warehouse place on the way home this morning and it made better sense than going to Brum and then driving back up the M6 again, doubling back.
They brought with them an inordinate ammount of washing - no idea how they have managed to amass so much in the course of 3 days. I dont think the washing machine has ever come so close to its 9kg full load capacity. Then eldest son had to be convinced that all of the small things, socks and underwear would dry on the radiators overnight. The dryer was rammed full and took hours.
With a few additions I managed to stretch salad for 3 to salad for 5 :D

Errant son is helping eldest son and GF move using his van so the van had to be emptied of its contents. Errant son has always kept in contact with his brother much more than us so we just let them get on with stuff.

another very disturbed nights sleep again - got up at 2 with chronic indigestion, couldn't lie down or turn over and propped pillows didn't help- fortunately having watched numerous A&E progs I knew it wasn't a heart attack. None of the usual cures worked and no antacids anywhere, managed to arrange various sofa cushions so I could sleep upright and finally nodded off about 3.30 and then back to bed.
Very large antacid pack bought today and contents divided up so they can be found at 3 in the morning again.

Afternoon Elite  Washing day for me but it's mainly cloudy and very little breeze so it wont dry outside. However, I've hung it out as it will dry quicker afterwards in tumbler

VM V6 Update - I contacted VRed to enquire about the V6 as it is not showing on my app - they said it is by email invitation from VM only :(.

Ah well, I will have to hope for an invitation at some point.

mhoc, oh dear girl, what can I say. I'm wondering is errant son still kicking boundaries for attention from you. I don't mean it in a nasty way :o but does he feel left out, unwanted in any way. This could well be part of his issues with you in particular. It's not going to be easy but have you tried unconditional love towards him. Go have lunch out one day, somewhere cheap and cheerful, that might go some way to healing things somewhat.

You can tell me to 'shut it' , feel free as it was just a thought that came to me :o

Hugs to the Elite poorly and low in spirit, you're in my thoughts xx

I'm glad you posted this. I did wonder if errant son was feeling left out of things.

Yes he is kicking boundaries and seeing how far he can push things. I also think he thinks the household runs the same as it did years ago but we have moved on. But the seperation thing is his own choice - he really does not want to be here or to be part of our family and is tolerating it because of circumstances. It almost feels like he feels contempt for us. Basically he is here because he has nowhere else to go and he has no options.
For years Ive tried to include him, writing letters, sending messages, emails, keeping up to speed with what was going on at home but he really wasnt interested.
He has free bed and board here for however long it takes and I do laundry. He makes mess and washing up, never offers to do anything whatsoever around the house - mostly I am ignoring this as I dont want comfrontation. He takes anything I say as nagging anyway.
Ive also had to loan him money as he now has no income.
I have tried numerous times to heal but it just backfires on me.

So upsetting for you. There is a saying that you are only ever as happy as your most miserable child. :(

When mine have returned to the nest, I can't bare the mess they leave around the place, so I generally take over and do all the laundry. I prefer to get it all done my way and under my control than put up with the mess they create. I know it is extra work, but I prefer to do the work and keep calm in my head than get aggravated by all the mess they create.

    Never give up!

I agree, stress causes acid build up.

Same for me, £5 in the Extra store. :( The superstore had no sign of them no gaps or SEL so assume they don't stock them.

Also got the beer kegs checked the hens and goblins and the ghost ship, all £15 down here this time round. :(
