A query

Eldest son paid his fine and sent off his driving liscense to DVLA with the form.
This has come back this morning - the card and also the form
So is that it - just seems peculiar that they sent the form back as well.

I cant see anything different with his driving lisense card - at least on the old fashioned paper lisense it was typed in what your points were and when they were added.
I am assuming that he has 3 points but is there any way of checking?
Also how long do they stay on your driving lisense - I seem to think that is varies now according to the offense.

2 other things bother me. Firstly his signature on his card looks like a signature but on the form its just a swirl - he is getting too idle now to even bother doing his signature :mad:

Secondly overprinted on his photo at the front it says 29.10.2018 - this is also the 4b date and on the back it says October 18
Is this the date he needs to renew his photo?
I thought the photos lasted 10 years or did I just make that up?

On the card it says 4a 18.04.2015 - I seem to think he did his driver training in 2011 - part of his army training he did the intensive course

Any clues anyone?

You go into the DVLA website to check the points but you will need his NI no to so this. I work in car hire and you need the licence and NI number to check it.
October 18 is both when his card expires and his photo. ( not always the same for some reason )

4a is the start date of the licence

Morning All,

I'm waiting for my sharpies result to come through from 8-10 am slot this morning, I will post before 12 if it works.

Ordered 10, receipt said 5 were subbed but there were only 4 of the subs in the locker, put them back in the returns locker and will just claim the 4 back.

Also got a free packet of cherry tomatoes but I didn't order them so must have been for someone else.
