But we have the advantage that we do not need the TV, we have freeview and freesat, and now they have taken Sky and Syfy off us (plus whatever else thy nicked) we will be used to not having them. So we will be looking for purely broadband, and we are close to the exchange and the closest cabinet has fibre.

I'm with Virgin too and definitely pants. I don't need TV either and am considering the Vodaphone no-landline broadband - you just get a 4g router - for £16.99 pm. Has anyone any experience of this please?

Morning all hope everyone is well.

Going to Liverpool for first time & looking for MSE tips for day & night time things to do please. Touristy, eating & drinking if anyone has been please. Tia xx

Are you going weekdays or weekends?

In the car or on the train?

A few thoughts off the top of my head .

By Lime Street station Ive seen a little yellow bus that does a circuit going by the cathedrels - cheaper than the hop on hop off buses anyway. Its all very walkable though, depending on where you are staying.

All the museums are free so make sure you are on their emailing lists so you get to know about upcoming exhibitions.

Check deal zippy Liverpool - plenty of meal deals but one we like is Cafe Latino - a bit difficult to find but very nice food.

Make sure you are signed up to Eds easy diner and put your birthday close to the date of your visit.
And also make sure you are signed up to Greggs with the right birthday

Have you got John Lewis coffee and cake vouchers? From John Lewis cafe you can get a good view towards the Isle of Man ferry :)

Are you a National Trust member - I only realised today that there is a NT property city centre.

I have HD due in about an hour but probably won't have a comparison before your midday deadline Anon.
