I treated myself to a nice loose bottomed (forget it DM :D) quiche pan from TK Maxx last week, it is a perforated one that is meant to crisp the pastry better, and very good non stick. I have to report that it worked :D One very crisp based treacle tart just consumed, and it just lifted out of the pan and slid off the base :D

Maybe it is worth paying a bit more for pans, that said I did get it reduced from £6.99 to £3.00 :D

Absolutely livid, DS just texted to say his train was cancelled tonight from London (pre booked). He has got on the next one and him and his friends are having to sit on floor between carriages as train fully booked ??? It's about 3 and a half hours journey xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I've just cooked roast chicken, roast potatoes and parsnips, enough for tomorrow and Tuesday. :D

Didn't want full roast tonight as I had a late lunch - huge salad - so just had a hot chicken leg with sweet chilli sauce.

Easy dinners next 2 days though... :)

    Delay Repay should help compensate.
