Fwiw, Pride Creamed Coconut was found at 50p RTC in M (22nd February). This is showing as 79p OOS in T - it is simply no longer on t.com or is showing as "unavailable" there, meaning that it could possibly be available cheaper on RTC instore. However, it is a small carton (it's small to me anyway), so I'm not sure why anyone would bother with this as bigger packs can be available at or below same price (for more). Also the Serge Peanut punch has gone onto offer, although M now requiring purchase of at least two, and I'm not sure about previous price showing on the price graph on msm as I seem to think it's been below 50p straight price on the previous offer price. But... is it in at least one of the three TBG stores:think::rotfl:?*

If T does have the Creamed Coconut at higher than 50p, they should not 'match' M's price as that is an RTC price and TBG says it excludes those. If they've (unlikely event?) gone on RTC and are lower priced, they shouldn't pick up the 50p price.

Entirely separately, elsewhere in M I had Bantuway Tilapia Fillets (400g) at £3. I think it was an offer rather than an RTC - not sure about putting those onto the list as I'll have difficulty returning to the store where I found them and it'll only leave me with another item to try to find again. (It could well even be in two of my stores that I am due to visit on 22nd March: if I'm not going to Brum again (due to not being able to fit it within the time within a day), they might be elsewhere for me on that date - or even in one or two of those, elsewhere, that I'm due to visit on 8th March. So, if I see them, I might know what price they are again in future so who knows?)

*I tend to look at it from a certain perspective though, as this is not in my 'home' stores so I tend to assume that the price collectors won't have it, whereas they may have started off from stores elsewhere, which may have it, and may not have items that have always been regulars in my home stores to me.

Check your emails - groupon have a 4 hour flash sale which finishes at 8 (in time for call the midwife :) )
    - 15% off local sales - might be worth a trawl through to see if there is anything new

    Good afternoon all

I also tend to say filem - its very Irish

Mothers family also went out for messages which sounds mad but "going for messages" was going to do the shopping.:

    I say these things too!

I have lived in Birmingham longer than I lived in Liverpool, but I still have an accent. It gets more pronounced when I am cross. DS1 was laughing at the dog the other week. He said she must have done something really naughty, cos I was shouting at her in a Liverpool accent!

I have got cross with the SA In Asda today. I am not proud of myself. It is irritating when you spend the time getting the correct items for a coupon and the till says 'no'........ The guy on the till did not understand why I didn't want to buy the items if he wouldn't accept the coupons!........I went to Customer Services and got £4 refund.

Still feel guilty for getting cross. :(

My DS lives with his family 'down south' and as he hasn't lived in the North East for over 20 years his Geordie accent is fading (although it comes back after a few days and a few pints!). I did giggle a few years ago when pushing DGD1 on a swing, She said faaaster, faaaster, with that long drawn out 'are' sound, followed by 'nanny man' in true Geordie.
After this we were in a soft play and a little Geordie spelk of a lad said to her 'what ye caaled (called)?' She just didn't understand and I had to translate to say he is asking what your name is! Her name is Kirsten which, I must admit, doesn't sound good in a geordie accent.

A friend went to footoe match when his team Millwall played the Toon adn had to ask us what Worble meant as they were saying it all the time. They weren't saying Worble, they wer saying Wor Ball - our ball - when ball went out of play :rotfl:

And one I use a lot is eejit - an eejit is far far worse than a run of the mill idiot :rotfl:

Oh not just Irish as it is standard in North East at least. Mam always went for the messages too. But I've never used 'eejit' think that is Irish ;)

Most common one for me was saying 'I will pick YOUS up' instead of pick you up. This was more that one, so not you but the plural yous, or actually said as yus. And I will never ever say anything else than me Mam, never my Mam. And never use Mum or mother either. Always Mam and Dad or most commonly Ma and Da

Oh well, rest over, back to work moving bits of furniture from bedroom to hall - just little things like shelving, cabinet

    So far this weekend ...

Eldest child organised a wine tasting with food pairing at their local wine shop last night - its BFs 30th this week  Their friends came down from York for the weekend so they all trotted off to the pub for an innocent pint - where eldest child had organised for all of their local friends (gym, netball, football and jogging) to met up. Then they went across the road to the wine shop - BF not quite realising it was not just the normal wine shop tastings but a full blown wine and food evening for all 8 of them :rotfl: - so he was doubly surprised.

Then having organised this she set about organising her dads birthday surprise at the start of the week.
OH went down to Euston this afternoon - he managed to get upgraded so he had a very nice wrap and coffee in 1st class. Then he met eldest child and off they went to book into the hotel. Originally eldest child was booking Travelodge as she gets a 5% works discount but then later on Monday night she though she might as well try the Accor Happy Mondays link I put up on FB - so she got an Ibis for £40 a night, £12 cheaper than TL :)
They booked into the hotel and were given some drink vouchers - eldest child had put in the info box that it was her dads big birthday :T So the last I heard from them they were in the bar armed with large glasses of wine, peanuts and a bowl of m & Ms :j

I think that's as far as they have got - they were supposed to be doing a museum this afternoon and then going onto dinner but it might just be McDonalds now having been eating and drinking all afternoon :rotfl:

Later is the big surprise - eldest child is taking her dad to Hammersmith Apollo to see Elbow :j

That's lovely mhoc, why haven't you gone as Well?
