diluvsdiscounts wrote: »So they cost you 90p each and your selling them at £3.50 each at the car boot so a £2.40 profit on each £24 per 10.
So for £24 you have gone to asda bought them plus ten fillers, gone home waited two/three hours, printed apg. ..........rinse and repeat how ever many times you chose which presumably is a lot to make it worth while doing a car boot.
How much do they charge per car at a car boot these days?
There is also your petrol to consider to asda and back and to the car boot and then how many hours do you stand at a car boot for presumably at the weekend , is that when car boots are on?
Have you considered how much a job working 8 hours a day would pay you, unless of course you can only work 16 hours duevto benefits but then would a regular income from car boot sales not be taken into account?
It all seems like a lot of hard work to me for such a small return but hey small things amuse small minds and all that.......Oh by the way did you forget that you're banned from this thread :rotfl::D:beer::rotfl::D just saying
Plus razors and shavers are age restricted items so even if anyone was selling them at carboots then they would have to check IDs to confirm ages - 12 year olds now look like 18 year olds. (and while you are checking their driving licences their mate is helping themselves to your stock)
Plus some carboot sales have rules about selling new items and if you sell at every carboot every weekend HMRC gets interested ...
It all seems like a lot of work to me for not much profit ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

don't have the bonfire yet I am going to put the duvet out on the line to freshen it up a bit - mind you that will ensure it starts raining as well then ...
Morning all, looking a bit dubious outside
A very long complicated To Do list today before giving blood this afternoon so I'd better press the Log Out button and force myself to get on with it ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Another one here with a very long to do list, sadly neglected over weekend
. My excuse ? My stepson from Warrington was here with his family :j. Grandchildren have shot up so much

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Good morning Elite :hello:
Dull and grey here but mild and dry. I have at last got an appointment to see my doc about remaining blood test results and need more of the Foliate tablets, only one left for tomorrow
After my super weekend, it's an enforced rest day today, I'm aching in places I didn't think I'd ache. It is however just the nature of the beast (OA)
If I have a busy day I always have had to rest the following day. If I know I'm going to have a busy day , the day prior to has to be a rest day. It's been this way for several years now but I think I lost my way at some point this year
I have hairless knees due to wearing long skirts and jeans. Not at the same time of course :rotfl: so no razors for me. Actually I do believe I could find a few packs from a previous giveaway at Mr A :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:
Hugs to my poorly friends and those low in spirit. You're in my thoughts as always xx

Good morning all....
Snap...what wonderful pictures....I just love your parents place!
A few years ago I used to collect chimney pots and I do now have quite a collection but I have not looked round reclamation places for a while and your picture has inspired me to get out and about to see what's out there.
I went on whoopsie hunt yesterday and seemed to notice that a new practice is happening instore whereby people are picking up the reduced items from the fridges, wandering round with them and then miraculously reappearing with them and handing them back to the assistant when final reduction is imminent....not playing the game IMO.
I did get a few bits and bobs but only because I happened to be in a good place at the right time....but I may need to rethink things going forward...I'm certainly not joining in with the stripping of the shelf before the time is due!
I have abandoned frugal Feb, and will resume in March...I have come to the conclusion that at the current £40 level it is not sustainable month on month....it works for day to day living but is very easily thrown when store cupboard or essentials need buying...we are getting low on lots and bits and bobs so I plan to do a replenish stock up which will probably be in the region of £30 but take us through the next few months.
Yesterdays whoopsies cost £5.32 but that included a small beef joint, lamb shanks,a couple of pork chops, some diced chicken, fishcakes and far too many cream cakes!!!
Toiletries....been a bit of an uninspiring week....nothing in and only one very small sample sized deo used up.
I now only have about half a can of shared deo left so unless I use mr shoes points it may be the first toiletry monetry purchase of the year.
off to read back on a few pages.
Have a lovely day all xfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
I tweaked my back sitting in a low chair last night, so went & laid down at 8pm.
Fell asleepuntil 11.30pm & everyone had gone to bed
