Then thank you gocat....although from memory the voucher expired possibly at midnight last night....so you may have missed out.

Bud is as most know on here DS's drink of choice so you will forever be in his good books for being in a position to supply it for free!

going to re quote my own post as I gave incorrect info.

the voucher for the Bud expires at midnight tonight...so still some time if anyone wants to give it a go at a sizzling

hopefully you can make use of it tonight gocat.

Well it really is quiet in here today...I posted before I went shopping and have now returned to find that it's been 2 hours since my last post!

anyhow...whilst at T they seemed to be reducing lots of random bits...so worth looking out for...baby bottles, toothpastes, lego, lots of lynx stuff.

I bit the bullet and got 4 tubes of colgate maximum with whitening and a couple of deos for a total of £2.14 so it will keep my need for both at bay for a little longer and probably better than using shoes points.

Well the shop was fairly good (for a non-glitch essential shop)

8 items (7 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda morrisons
    2x ASDA Party Popping Chicken (200g) £2.00 £0.84
0.17x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (per kg) £0.12 £0.12
1x ASDA SmartPrice Garden Peas in Water (300g) £0.21 £0.21
    1x ASDA Semi Skimmed Milk (6pt) £1.45 £1.45
    1x ASDA Smartprice Mixed Vegetables (1kg) £0.77 N/A
    1x ASDA Minced Beef & Vegetable Pasty (150g) £0.30 N/A
    1x Nestle Shredded Wheat Bitesize Cereal (500g) £2.49 £1.00
0.15x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Banana (order by number of bananas or select kg) (per kg) £0.11 £0.10
1x ASDA Frozen for Freshness Button Sprouts (1kg) £1.00 £1.08
Comparison total (compared products only) £7.38 £4.80
    +£2.58 cheaper

except that my Minced Beef & Veg. Pasty which failed to compare against T last time I bought against there (it was comparing against T before then when I bought against M), now returns as comparing against T once again:mad::

    1x ASDA Minced Beef & Vegetable Pasty (150g) £0.30 £0.30

Never mind - I shall buy the other one (we needed two really but just got one for now) as an item on my next shop against T. Watch it fail to compare then:mad::mad::rotfl:!:p The cost of the frozen veg. has gone up:( - I've moved SP Mixed Veg. to vs M due to S going up to 90p (was tehcnically left with against S before when it was 80p and A not quite 10% cheaper). I've also been able to use the Sprouts against M, for all of 3p:(:( due to T going from £1 to £1.10:mad:. There were some in Lidl at 89p whilst stocks lasted but they are not available to me now as they have gone. I dug deep and found one pack underneath a large number of other items last time in my store, so I do think I bought the last pack, and that was some months after they first appeared so very lucky to get that. Possibly some in Aldi but this one was just easier, even though costs have risen.

As for the M list, it looks like the new items I got at the start of the month are offers that were on for a few weeks. I am actually putting items on that are still on for some time or are expiring in M tomorrow. (It looks like offers in M are now generally ending on Tuesdays instead of Sundays, so the price collection on Wednesday looks like a good day.) So in fact the list is largely becoming up-to-date, but there are the odd expired offers on there I am sure to catch you. I have just changed the toothpastes and toothbrushes around, although many of the 'new' ones now expire in M tomorrow (may be 'good' on the APG for a few more days, assuming they haven't changed the SELs to full price in advance in M today). I never remember which toothbrushes are on and off, so I took a careful list. I think if I haven't got anything recorded, the price was unchanged. What I may do, today, is take the list - or some of it - through msm and delete off what I can find has expired. Of course there are the odd ones on there that aren't online, but, from the items I got on 1st/2nd February that I have been checking, it looks like, in fact, most of it is on. In short, list not as OOD as it seems therefore although there will be the odd item here and there that has expired (so just needs a check just in case).

The Popping Chicken was not a bag unlike I expected - it looks entirely different to the pictures showing online (on a.com/msm) - more like a box of Bird's Eye, like Chicken Burgers or a box of Fish Fingers and similar. The second one was going to be a rare purchase of SP frozen Minced Beef & Veg. Pies - nowadays £1, not been buying any of those for ages after they went to 20p RTC years ago, it sort of put me off:rotfl: - however I figured, since I already had enough items, that I could buy some more Popping Chicken now as comp. on that unlikely to last as long and can always get the SP Pies as an item next time (whenever against M). And of course the shop gives more APG than getting the pies against M at £1 would have done.

EDIT: Technically should be buying T's Eday Value Mixed Vegetables in T as they work out a fraction of a penny cheaper on their weight. SP against S would have been better before, but not now S has gone up in price (now loses APG against there). Of course, at one stage they should have been against M at 75p - not seen anything there for over a year.

    I had ZZZzzzzzz

Sarah, I can thoroughly recommend Barcelona. You can get a ticket for a day or a few days that gets you around everywhere, by train or tram. Also the open top buses are great, and they do a hop on hop off daily ticket. Both great value
    Too right you do ;)

from Andrea, the windows engineer to tell me that my computer has been hacked!.....

will I need new windows I asked...only I know they can be very expensive and after christmas money is tight.....

She couldn't get a word in edgeways because I then asked about finance packages and different styles of window...

umm then she hung up...but in my usual style here's another number to "call bar" if you have something similar

The apg has not picked up M Müller multi for as long as I can remember :(. It would need to inease the multi in A then have triggers to glitch?

It is one of the oldies, would be great to have it back.

I noticed in A that H&S is back up to £4.97 for 500ml, so hopefully a sign that a 3 for £10 multi is on the way.
