Thanks bubbs and gocat - I did look at the other forum but couldn't make head nor tail of it ! Problem is I don't know anything about pips, esa etc and don't know how his benefits are made up. I knew that some benefits were means tested (as they should be) but we hoped that the compensation could be used to ease the ongoing situation just a bit. If all their benefits are stopped and they are expected to live on the lump sum then it won't last very long.
Things are tight for them - even though both ds and dil are both disabled and can only walk short distances(with sticks) they have just had dil's motobility car withdrawn following reassessment even though her health issues are worse than when she was awarded the car 3 years ago !
I have told him to discuss it in detail with his solicitor . You never stop worrying about your kids do you .ELITE 5:2

Only half way through, but watching 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople', and it gets the DM thumbs up. Really rather funny in a subtle manner.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

OH does not agree with my view that when you are putting in the outside lighting, you should consider putting in permanent christmas lightsdiluvsdiscounts wrote: »I know I miss our weekly coffee catch ups too. I think I'm picking the right week to do the price collection as I notice many of the offers I picked up on 1st February were still on in M today according to msm and several ranges are due to be on offer until 22nd February. I think it's 'changeover week' this week and there has probably not been much change in M over the last three weeks (although I can't tell). I am doing one collection this week, a big one, on Wednesday plus a supplement of three quick stores (I hope) on Thursday to get local/regional items that I will not expect to have in my main set. With SELs now generally having no expiry date on them, and the items not being online, it is difficult to tell when the offers were due to have ended.
It's tiny bit of a shame (shame is too strong a word for it) that I haven't got to the main updating until now, as I seem to have done very well indeed, even managing - eventually! - to pick up all three of the Blind Pig ciders in M that are on msm for A but none showing any M details. Eventually, anyway - there is a story about how many stores that took and how I was left incomplete on the Wednesday itself! The missing one (which I was unaware existed so had *not* gone out for) was at my final store on the following day. Should have done them in reverse order:rotfl:. That said, what was my actual last store didn't have either of the other two (and I mean no SELs and no stock in customer facing parts of the store) and none of my other stores had any of them that day. So I did need my Wednesday set to get the initial other two (did well getting them all).0
