When I was a teenager I worked in a cafe which turned into a restaurant in the evening. During the day we only used the kitchen to boil eggs. I forgot a huge pan of eggs. They boiled dry and started to burn. When someone commented about the smell I screamed and ran into the kitchen. I knew not to put cold water into the pan but thought boiling water would be OK. It wasn't! Eggs exploded and went everywhere. The rest of the staff ran in to see what the noise was and found me convulsed with hysterical laughter! Oddly enough the supervisor cleaned it up herself and not long afterwards put me in charge of the shift she didn't work!!

I'm just coming to it now, weeks after the event so may have gone.

    1x ASDA Party 12 Pigs in Blankets (300g) £1.50 N/A

I had M 12 Sausage Wrapped in Bacon (300g) on 1st February - the price I had was £1.50 but I suspected this was an unchanged SEL that most likely meant £1 as other "Party" items were on (still are on somewhere?) cheaper RTCs but I had no stock of the Sausages anywhere to be able to check.

    Indeed, I now notice:

ASDA Party Pigs in Blankets (12 per pack - 300g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    £1.50 50p / 100g

      £2.00

      [Strike]£2.00 **[/Strike]
      £1.00
The M product was on RTC in M but I've not seen it, or indication of it, since 1st February - I've not been checking since then. It may exist at £1, even now, in some M that has higher unchanged SEL (assuming it has not gone back up). It could have gone even lower since - remember how, months later, a Birds Eye Vegetable Nuggets suddenly turned up in my store? We know how supermarkets can have unchanged SELs for months sometimes. We also know (I do, anyway) that items can remain unbought in freezers for months, particularly if some stock got 'lost' at the backs of shelves and maybe wasn't noticed by the largely non-autistic staff that fail to notice things that are right in front of their eyes and thus never put any SEL up for the item. The Pigs in Blankets were (are?) £1 RTC in M - however I've had a recent change of view and I now don't think the APG compares against RTCs unless they were not marked as such in the price collection store(s). This is due to a recent item, that was obvious in all my stores, on RTC label, failing to be picked up on the APG. So, buy in M at £1, or lower, if you can find!

I think the Aunt Bessies Roast Potatoes, and other items that were on RTC in M, that compared before, ages ago, may have been found with just a normal SEL in their stores rather than having the RTC label. I've seen the Party Chicken, this has obviously gone to a lower price than I had had - glad to see that comparing as it is a good item:T.

EDIT: The Pigs in Blankets in M may have gone back up to £2 on 12th February:( as msm is showing this. M just seem to put things back up sometimes, that have been on reduced to clear but which never cleared from every store. Examples last time are Taylor's Limited Ed. Coffee was £1.50 RTC, now (1st February) scanned at full price, KP Nuts drums 450g RTC £1 had gone to £2, The Best Goose Fat was on 50p RTC is now £2, one of the frozen Bake at Home pastries had gone back to full price 61p:( (I have also deleted the other one, assuming it has gone back up somewhere as I have not seen it in my set of stores), the Wham Essentials Roaster, still showing £1 RTC in one store at the start of the month, had already gone to £1.99:( - due to the placement in other stores I eventually checked and found it was now full price. I assume the Baking Tray would have done likewise (none of that in any of my stores on 1st Feb.). Otherwise I just never know whether RTCs are still on or not: SELs I see could be OOD.

Thanks for all the razor answers. I've a cordless one which I got on double up some time ago and I wouldn't go back to razors.

    Thanks, Picasso7. x
