No sign of any Mountain Dew here. Probably as well as I would just drink it.

Onwards and upwards as you say LEJC. Sometimes your energy amazes me :)

Thanks HG....I'm not always convinced about having energy to do things, sometimes it's just better to keep myself busy rather than to dwell too much on other issues.
I've felt myself slowly sinking back to a very dark place very gradually over perhaps the last 6 weeks or so....and its a place I dont want to be....therefore its time to start to put things in a better order.
My new role I think will help.it's doing what I'm good at but have not done since working days.Hopefully it wont take up too much time once things are licked into shape but in the interim 6 weeks or so I can see the challenge that awaits, and in a weird way I'm quite looking forward to the battle!

Which level? Some of the newest levels have not been tested properly before release and are impossible without boosters.

Level 2311 I have only managed 2 get 2 fruit out and no where near with clear pockets . I have wasted loads bonus trying

HG and all elite....something else worth doing is checking your state pension forecast. It will tell you what pension you will receive based on your current NIC's. You may think that you have sufficient working years to get the full pension but this might not be the case if you were contracted out for some of your working life. Again, this has been discussed on the pension forum, and they will be able to offer lots of advice, about buying extra years, how much it costs, against how much extra pension you will get each week. Its really interesting once you get your head around it all, and an opportunity to get your pensions in order prior to retirement.

Its another item on my To Do list to write to them to dispute some of the years they say I am missing. I know its futile.
I had a letter a few years back to say I had the full number of qualifying years but some of these years done seem to count now.
So as well as not receiving the state pension between 60 and 67 (or 68 or 69 or whatever it will eventually go up to by the time I get anywhere near) I am also being docked £20 per week  when I do get it.
Each each year I need to buy seems to cost thousands so its not really justifiable.

I had a little read back over the weekend, and notice that TM had the first drink of the year....

Have to ask what did it taste like....?
I've been doing the dry every other day thing and I am noticing a real difference....on the days I dont have a drink I have a hangover and on the days I have a drink,I'm enjoying it less and less to the extent that perhaps I sometimes struggle to drink a whole glass....which is very unlike me.

OH has a theory that its all to do with habit rather than the need to be drinking wine etc so has gone out and bought a bottle of bottle green cordial and now gives it to me in a wine glass on non drinking days....he is convinced its all about presentation rather than what you actually drink!

Buying an extra year currently costs £733.20...which adds £4.32 per week onto your pension. So 174 weeks (just under 3 and half years) of receiving your state pension, and it has paid for itself.....no brainer for me. If class 2 voluntary nics apply its even better, as these only cost £145.60, for the same benefit....class 2 voluntarys are being abolished in 2018.

    January....
    Week 1-4 total 159.44 miles
    Week 5.... 41.66 miles
Not moving anywhere! House renovations taken over life!!
