    Afternoon all

    I've been out most of the day visiting my 2 sisters.
    I took one to asda to use some apgs and did a target shop while I was there.

    we didn't bother with wombling as weather not nice.

    Thanks for the heads up chris on bananas.This will be the 3rd if accepted.

    OH said it used to be a named train going from Manchester to Euston

    I really deeply love steam engines, something very elemental about them. I am not sure where this comes from, they were long gone by the time I was born.
    When I came back from Stafford one afternoon last year the Empress of India (not certain of the name, cant find the photos now so I might have invented that) was on platform 12 getting fettled up and oddly there was not the usual gang of spotters handing around. So I got right up close, talked to the driver, took photos and eventually I waved them off, a one woman waving committee, all by myself when it set off again
    :rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

    My earliest memory when I was just 3 was waiting for a steam train to go to stay with my aunty and her family while my mum was waiting to give birth to my sister. I can still see it all now , the smoke filling the tunnel and the smell etc :)

    Was I the only one that saw Wales score go to 21 then back to 16 and then England go to 19?

    Not watching, just OH got a bit excited and was wondering why he was supporting Wales :eek:

    Afternoon peeps. :)

    I wass walking back from A's this morning when a man was putting 2 pictures out by his gate for anyone to collect. I asked him if I could have them and he said yes, so I carried them home with great difficulty as they are 38 inches square. :eek: Solid wood frame, glass fronted.

    Not great photos but they are abstract art, autumn time.

    I've tried finding them online but no luck. I've found something similar at a price of £180 each. :eek:

    It was a very affluent house, but some people don't even think about reselling! I'm keeping them though. :D

    When you get bored of them can always use the frame for something else. Prints are cheap but you have quite a few bob in frames there, just the mounts alone would cost £10 each.

    Well done
