So do I..... even random stuff I am protective over... but smile sweetly and hand it over!

no sadly the 2 in the morning thoughts are never as exciting as thinking about what unspeakable things you could do with David Beckham if left in a locked room :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Afternoon peeps.
I wass walking back from A's this morning when a man was putting 2 pictures out by his gate for anyone to collect. I asked him if I could have them and he said yes, so I carried them home with great difficulty as they are 38 inches square. Solid wood frame, glass fronted.
Not great photos but they are abstract art, autumn time.
I've tried finding them online but no luck. I've found something similar at a price of £180 each.
It was a very affluent house, but some people don't even think about reselling! I'm keeping them though.0 -

I always say to my gang that when they come home they should always go away with more stuff than they came with - and def take home enough stuff to the value to cover their petrol or train costs
It falls on deaf ears.
I tried to interest eldest son in my collection of tex mex pepparami sticks the other day so he tried one and said they were too chewy. I think they have quite long dates on them ? otherwise I will have to cut into slices for the fox
He also has no interest in my tomato soup can collection
Which is why quite a lot of my cashback items go into the food bank trolley and I often have to walk away from the reduced items shelves ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I never have this problem the kids eat everything whilst their girlfriends and their friends all come to fill their bags....it is rather comical really as they will be at the house, and come downstairs with a bag of something that one of my kids have given them. I smile sweetly. Although with the kids who struggle more than they should, I am the one filling bags for them to take home with them.:o:o:o:o

Scamps, they are fab. You could easily change the picture if you wanted to but I think they look great x100

Ive just finished one of the Boots organics micellar waters we got free with o2 priority app - very good value and very long lasting. Its not something I would ever have thought of buying otherwise but Ive liked using it so I think its something I will switch to now.
Ive got a 2nd one in stock in readiness but I think Ive also seen them in Poundland.
So all of the creamy cleaners I have stock piled need to be assessed now as to their suitability for ditching or donating.
We have an open fire so cotton wool and the odd facial wipe get burnt no issues with adding indestructible items to landfill apart from a bucket of fire ash twice a week.
It made me think though that people used to mainly use soap or facial flannels to wash faces and now mostly its facial wipes or cotton wool with cleaners and these are just binned afterwards, all adding to landfill
These are the sort of things I ponder at 2 in the morning - swiftly going from O2 freebies to the destruction of the earth as we cover everything in landfill sites :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
