Wendy
You must feel terrible so sending hugs
I am also at the end of a pm if you need to "Chat"
I work in HR and would echo the sentiments posted
Sometimes chats have to be done before you are signed off so that any changes that require to be made can be in place when you are fit to return They wont know if they don't ask
(((hugs)))0 -
Wendy, thinking of you xx
Had fun today, went to Ts to look for anything left for 4p, didn't find any but did find a couple of wish & wander portable charger and headphone sets for 50p each.
Then went to sains and found some more popping freddos, didn't know they came in green
Then on to Wilko's and picked up a few 10p light bulbs. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
thanks for asking, unfortunately not
I had a call at the end of last week from the new maanager asking me to go in but he mentioned he knew of my problem and wanted an informal meeting to discuss it. He said he had been approached by another member of staff.
I was very upset and knew who this was as she is the only person who I told, she has been away for five months herself and I have helped her many times with her finances etc.
I called her in the evening and she told me the whole office was buzzing with it, making me feel a whole lot worse and also telling me the old manager had been in the office at the time of the call.
I asked her what was the point of going on if this had happened and she replied "youre not going to do anything silly are you?" I said no but I feel so worthless and I said goodbye.
About an hour later my husband took a call from my very upset new manager asking if he was with me as he had taken a call at home from someone saying I was going to take my life.
We chatted and he said he would be there for me any time etc and not to worry about the meeting as it was unofficial but had to be done on work premises !!
I am now in a right state as why does it have to be done there when I am signed off until february .....??

Afternoon all!
Just finished catching up after a long first week back at work. Thanks to all those who asked after me, I can confirm that it's going well so far and it's a million times better than my old place!:D:D
Hugs to those who need them, and I hope everyone is keeping warm in this wintery weather. I got the slow cooker going yesterday so it'll be bolognaise for the next few days, then lasagne, then shepherd's pie! At least it'll save DH from cooking...
Very jealous of the 4p finds, I strongly suspect there'll be nothing in my T, but at least it'll save me spending anything more, so much for Frugal Jan!!0 -
