I went to docs this morning with my chest pain, after the most horrendous night ever, I seen every hour on the clock.
Got took to A & E in an ambulance.
Had every test going, bloods, ecg, heart monitor, chest x rays.
They thought it was pleurisy, but now think its just muscular, so have told me to take painkillers.
I am at home now resting, so please dont make me laugh as its so painful, and i cant bend down as the pain hurts so much.
Hornetgirl, sorry to hear of your loss.
Wendy, hope it all gets sorted.
Hope you feel better soon. Take it easy.“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -
Good morning all....
Where did the weekend go....I did a bit of shopping a bit of gardening,a little drinking and some warming by the fire and now it's Monday morning.
Locarr...thank you for the updated pics of the 4p stuff....I saw the fluffy ladies slipper sock type things in my T on Saturday ...about 4 pairs and they were still scanning at £5...not sure if my need is enough to return today to see if they are still there...they wouldnt wash well so its sort of wear and discard...which I suppose you can do at that price...but I also have way too many christmas socks that just get an airing for a few weeks a year!
I think I'm missing out on the collective train journey....hope you don't mind, but I'm not feeling a little low and have decided to wave from the embankment as you all pootle past!
In another T I had a run in with one of the assistants yesterday, she has previously been what I consider inappropriate with her comments to me and yesterday she again challenged me in a way I felt did not give good customer service .....a call to headoffice has now resulted in a £50 giftcard...so hopefully in the future she will back off.
My reduction shop was good yesterday and again I have managed to fill my empty freezer drawer with a selection of chicken, pork, sausages and mince for £3.14 so frugal January rumbles on.
I have £5.95 in wombled APG's so that should see us through to the end of the month now.
Well done bubbs on 2 years fag free
Pacifica and seren...luck and good wishes going forward for your employment endeavours....and Rhosy, dont you dare give your boss your recipies!!!!!
HG ....big hugs...never easy to lose anyone, regardless of age. xx
Welcome home mhoc....hope the holiday was good.
If I've missed anyone out...sorry....well wishes to all
I'm being a little hermit like at the moment...fragile and perhaps taking things a bit too much to heart so this week could go either way.....
Let's try and make it a good one.....
Thanks , i never thought would do it:o well done on getting that GC:T:T hope the trout leave you alone now xthanks for asking, unfortunately not
I had a call at the end of last week from the new maanager asking me to go in but he mentioned he knew of my problem and wanted an informal meeting to discuss it. He said he had been approached by another member of staff.
I was very upset and knew who this was as she is the only person who I told, she has been away for five months herself and I have helped her many times with her finances etc.
I called her in the evening and she told me the whole office was buzzing with it, making me feel a whole lot worse and also telling me the old manager had been in the office at the time of the call.
I asked her what was the point of going on if this had happened and she replied "youre not going to do anything silly are you?" I said no but I feel so worthless and I said goodbye.
About an hour later my husband took a call from my very upset new manager asking if he was with me as he had taken a call at home from someone saying I was going to take my life.
We chatted and he said he would be there for me any time etc and not to worry about the meeting as it was unofficial but had to be done on work premises !!
I am now in a right state as why does it have to be done there when I am signed off until february .....??Afternoon all!
Just finished catching up after a long first week back at work. Thanks to all those who asked after me, I can confirm that it's going well so far and it's a million times better than my old place!:D:D
Hugs to those who need them, and I hope everyone is keeping warm in this wintery weather. I got the slow cooker going yesterday so it'll be bolognaise for the next few days, then lasagne, then shepherd's pie! At least it'll save DH from cooking...
Very jealous of the 4p finds, I strongly suspect there'll be nothing in my T, but at least it'll save me spending anything more, so much for Frugal Jan!!

The head and shoulders one for them was recruiting quite a few months ago...I think I got binned for that one....but I guess it must have then got delayed until now.
They sent me an invite to a daz campaign....and I just cant get motivated for it as we have quite a stash of washing stuff at the moment.
has anyone else had some invite from Trnd...for what I think is a yoga app...they suggest I would be perfect for the campaign....I think they are having a laugh!!!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I'm feeling a bit unsure whether I should post this but here goes. After some worrying symptoms over the last couple of days I went to see my GP this morning and as a result am now waiting for an appointment under the urgent two week referral guidelines, to commence investigations for the disease that no-one wants
I can't actually say the word at the moment.
Sorry, head a bit all over the place at the moment.0 -
