I'm feeling a bit unsure whether I should post this but here goes. After some worrying symptoms over the last couple of days I went to see my GP this morning and as a result am now waiting for an appointment under the urgent two week referral guidelines, to commence investigations for the disease that no-one wants :( I can't actually say the word at the moment.
Sorry, head a bit all over the place at the moment.

HG (((hugs))) sorry you're going through this sweetheart, the waiting, thinking, and fretting are going to make you feel down until you get your appointment through and get your results.

Your doc my just want to be on the safe side rather than not. Fingers crossed there's nothing to worry about xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Can anyone advise where I can buy a cheap 2nd hand Iphone 5s from?

In the past I bought from smartf0nestore.com but i'm having problems with them sending Japanese iphones, and I want a UK one.

I'm not keen on ebay as may be dodgy for iphones, cex is expensive.

    Any ideas please?

They are not always available, but we have got our recent ones from 02 Refresh using the buy, use for a quick call, unlock, pay off the phone plan and cancel the contract within a day or so trick ;). The Nearly New (refurbished phones) are pretty much like new but come in plain boxes, no headphones, no plug (but do have the charging cable) - they have different grades but we had "Perfectly Fine" and they were as good as new.

I admit I had a few issues with 02 as reported on here (charged full contract amount when cancelling and then refunded twice, which caused a problem on my credit file due to their incompetence - since corrected!), but the vast majority of people taking up the offers get out without any problems including Mrs Anon at the same time as me.

    Currently £153.99 for a new 5S 16gb (2 week delivery)(£6 per month x 24 plus £9.99 up front)
    https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/phones/apple/iphone-5s/#contractType=paymonthly

Perfectly Fine (refurb) is £139.99 (£5 per month, 24 months plus £19.99 up front)
    https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/phones/apple/iphone-5s-like-new/#contractType=paymonthly

When I bought last year, they had dropped their price to £96 on the refurbs (they drop the price every so often to clear stock).

The contract is split into two - Phone Plan and Airtime - you are effectively paying off the Phone Plan element of the contract and exercising your right to cancel the airtime contract which is a feature of Refresh.

I have 5S at the moment and am happy with it so far.

    HTH

    Afternoon all.

I went to docs this morning with my chest pain, after the most horrendous night ever, I seen every hour on the clock.

Got took to A & E in an ambulance.

Had every test going, bloods, ecg, heart monitor, chest x rays.

They thought it was pleurisy, but now think its just muscular, so have told me to take painkillers.

I am at home now resting, so please dont make me laugh as its so painful, and i cant bend down as the pain hurts so much.

I nearly said it could be a muscular problem last night. I've had bruised ribs and the pain is similar so I know just how much pain you are in. Take maximum dose of painkillers and anti-inflammatories and rest, it's all you can do :kisses3:

Been there, done that, and I sincerely hope you come out the other end the same way I did, with nothing to worry about.

If it goes the other way, then you have hopefully caught it early and we will all be here if you need us.

Will be thinking of you - I know how it messes with your head,I nearly rode out in front of a car on my bike while I was waiting for an appointment

  • Crikey, that is a bad showing. Surely the company would the right things in place for you to do job efficiently :( When I uploaded full res images to a printing firm it took a matter of minutes.

No its my companys fault. We only have normal basic broadband for an office that has approx 10 ppl in. Sometimes we have to take it in turns to open emails. But hey its saves money not moving the server from our old office (which is demolished now) to our new one.
