if you cancel everything off and go to the scan as you shop tills and beep the machine at the top it will say have u anything that didnt scan ..click no and the handset will be blank.
You can now leave the handset and get another or go through the quick till.
I did it while on the hunt for 4p items (my first trip out), as I only found one :( x

How are you feeling today Wendy? hope you've had a stress free weekend xx

thanks for asking, unfortunately not :(
I had a call at the end of last week from the new maanager asking me to go in but he mentioned he knew of my problem and wanted an informal meeting to discuss it. He said he had been approached by another member of staff.
I was very upset and knew who this was as she is the only person who I told, she has been away for five months herself and I have helped her many times with her finances etc.
I called her in the evening and she told me the whole office was buzzing with it, making me feel a whole lot worse and also telling me the old manager had been in the office at the time of the call.
I asked her what was the point of going on if this had happened and she replied "youre not going to do anything silly are you?" I said no but I feel so worthless and I said goodbye.
About an hour later my husband took a call from my very upset new manager asking if he was with me as he had taken a call at home from someone saying I was going to take my life.
We chatted and he said he would be there for me any time etc and not to worry about the meeting as it was unofficial but had to be done on work premises !!
I am now in a right state as why does it have to be done there when I am signed off until february .....?? :(

Why would it charge more? Hope you are not paying for the ticket to be posted to you!

No, I booked through the wrong site first time, virgintrains.co.uk, as that was where I landed from the nectar page .

Then I booked a second ticket through the correct site for points, virgintrainseastcoast.com.

That child now has two identical tickets costing £1.15 each :rotfl:

Oh Wendy, I'm so saddened and angry for you. Why is this person running to the boss with this, or have I missed something.

You know you haven't done anything wrong, I'm wondering if the boss is going to ask you if you've thought of leaving due to ill health? It's something I've come across years ago and your situation rang a bell to me before but didn't like to say so.

Of course if it's a new manager they may just want to see you for themselves to see how you are getting on.

Don't upset yourself, I'm on the end of a PM if you want to chat ((hugs))) xx

Wendy, I'm sending you positive thoughts.
I can understand that in some organisations sickness procedures call for managers to meet with staff who are on long term sick leave, but I can't understand how an 'unofficial' meeting has to be on work premises.
If you are able, with support, to go try to do it as I found, when in a similar position, that the reality was not as bad as I had convinced myself that it would be. If you feel unable to go let the new manager know. Do it by letter if you are not up to talking. I would also let the manager know that you are concerned to find out that the office is 'buzzing' about you, these things should surely be confidential.
    Take care
    Pip

Not sure where you work or whether you are in a Union but I would take someone with me to the meeting. My oh had a really bad time at work before he took early retirement and had many meeting with his horrible manager but never went in alone. It cant be a family member however.

Also I would have thought if it was an unofficial chat it could be done at your home

Morning all, grey and miserable outside - the 2 black Tom cats have taken to their baskets, very sensible.

The washing pile is cleared :j

I just have to motivate myself to get everything sorted, folded and stored now - the grim task of finally putting all of the summer things away for six months which might be when we see the sun again ..

OH has given me a pile of his railway books to put on Amazon but they all need to have photos and detailed descriptions and I don't have the motivation or description for this task either ...

Can anyone advise where I can buy a cheap 2nd hand Iphone 5s from?

In the past I bought from smartf0nestore.com but i'm having problems with them sending Japanese iphones, and I want a UK one.

I'm not keen on ebay as may be dodgy for iphones, cex is expensive.

    Any ideas please?
