I wasn't sure if all stores are doing it so early, I am going in opposite direction before I pick up DD3 from work as I have my peppa pig stuff from Argos to collect, so I might try the other store if I get a wiggle on.

The Finest cheese and cider sets were gone too and don't think they were dated until tomorrow. And the other hams/gammons that were still scanning high price are all gone...

In fact anything savoury that was xmas seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth no big packs of those cheese puffs or bacon rashers etc and sure they would not have all sold out yet.

There was sale kitchenware and bedding in it's place.

I hope you are all raring to go now we have a new year to contend with.
I am still off work but must think about my return, prompted by a call today from said establishment.
I wanted to apply for a pip but the form came and I don't think I'm disabled enough so that has been filed ..
I am gradually getting back to normal but had a bit of a stupid moment earlier and booked son & family on a short break which I can ill afford.
Hey ho, its only money even though its not actually my money (its the credit cards) must have a VERY frugal January and february now eh ??
Loving the pics of the reduced christmas stuff and wishing I had some mojo to go have a look......perhaps I too will turn a corner soon

These were 75p in the store i went in, shortbread tins were £1.50

Missed the ale and nut gifts the SA said they went this morning. I went especially as knew they were dated today but they were reducing everything Xmas no matter the date. :eek:
