Spent quite a long time this morning looking at banks/savings accounts. Nothing to fire the imagination!

But yes, like you, shifting the excess £500 out of TSB today.

Also thinking of switching bank accounts next week, after the majority of this months DD's have been paid. First direct I think, will be getting my custom :) :money: gives you an extra £25 in addition to the usual £100 for switching if you go through the :money:link.

First Direct has a regular saving account at 6%. Max £300 per month

Looks like TS will be having a cheese and wine party soon:whistle::whistle:

My frugal January is going well. Apart from milk and a few whoopsies I haven't had to buy any big stuff.

However we have family arriving on Friday for the weekend so I will have to get breakfast stuff.....bacon, sausage and fruitjuice etc but I'll do a tally early next week and give you an update:)

In fact anything savoury that was xmas seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth no big packs of those cheese puffs or bacon rashers etc and sure they would not have all sold out yet.

There was sale kitchenware and bedding in it's place.

These jacob crackers were in my local Sainsbobs yesterday ..Reduced to £2:50 for the 900g tub
