    Evening gang
I hope you are all raring to go now we have a new year to contend with.
I am still off work but must think about my return, prompted by a call today from said establishment.
I wanted to apply for a pip but the form came and I don't think I'm disabled enough so that has been filed ..
I am gradually getting back to normal but had a bit of a stupid moment earlier and booked son & family on a short break which I can ill afford.
Hey ho, its only money even though its not actually my money (its the credit cards) :( must have a VERY frugal January and february now eh ??
Loving the pics of the reduced christmas stuff and wishing I had some mojo to go have a look......perhaps I too will turn a corner soon ;)

Get the application filled out...you never know what they will say. :p:p:p

Looks like TS will be having a cheese and wine party soon:whistle::whistle:

My frugal January is going well. Apart from milk and a few whoopsies I haven't had to buy any big stuff.

However we have family arriving on Friday for the weekend so I will have to get breakfast stuff.....bacon, sausage and fruitjuice etc but I'll do a tally early next week and give you an update:)

SSM hangs head in shame.... but the good thing is that I stocked up on my green tea with lemon 87p a pk in T.... cheapest I have ever seen it!

I also got a few things on TMF....:D:D:D

Sorting out a shopping list for Asda tomorrow, need yogurts, Muller are currently 68p each or £4 for 8 in Asda 55p each or £3 for 6 in Tesco. Think I remember if you buy a flavour at Asda that is not recognised on the APG it will compare( 7 @68) £4.76----(£3.55 -10%) £3.20
Is my memory correct ? If so can anyone remember what flavours worked this way

    TIA
Not overly cheap but okay if like me you were wanting Mullers anyway,
Apple crumble and custard worked as a trigger ( was going to try turkish delight but could not see any on the shelve)
£5.24 spend £1.41 APG Think if we had chosen a different flavour that Tesco stock would have taken another 14p off

8 items (5 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Tesco

My iron has just blown up:eek:

There was a massive bang, a flash of light and now a horrible smell:o

Then all the lights went out.

I know Chrissyv got one of these irons in the Come Round Promotion...a Phillips Azur. I was sure it was sometime in 2015 so off I went to search for the guarantee info....as I knew it had a 2 year warranty.

Shock horror....it was actually November 2013 .......hard to believe that time is passing so quickly.

Now I'm on the hunt for the "university" iron that never saw light of day:rotfl:

Ha ha we have one of those. By end of summer might be two.

Both were really cheap though £1 or something, might have even been 4p sure someone will remember those Ts value ones. ;)
