:jGood for you. I do miss working in London sometimes. Not often. But sometimes. :D

I get you :). Already planning my escape on New Year's Eve. I'm working near the fireworks area and finish at 11pm. I'm going to run home before midnight and avoid the drunkards!

Indeed. Just realised SSM said free board and lodging? When did that happen? I always paid board when I lived at home from the minute I started earning. And was happy to do so.

I had to pay £20 board from when I turned 16 (and was still at school), I was only allowed to go to college if I was totally independent... I ended up moving out when I was 19, my siblings moved out even younger (one moved out at 14!) I don't want that for my kids, but I think I have gone from one extreme to the other... :D

Indeed, is this from the car mocs from 4 or so years ago!? I've still got some conditioner from then, it has gone a bit solid, I pour half in to another bottle and dilute with water and shake, 1 Bottle now lasts twice as long....I think I have enough to last til 2030! ;)

I still have fabric conditioner from this time (and mix with water).... and some car magnets still stuck to my fridge! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This morning we had a little panic about the dog, there was drops of blood on the floor.... then we realised that it not her operation yesterday but she is menstruating.... poor thing she has been lethargic all day. I think I would be the same!

 bet that was a frightening moment SSM

After realising Berry and Millie's vet fees and specialist food was bleeding me dry, I did a spreadsheet and got all the details together - vet/meds/vet plan/specialist food came to £3,721 for 2016 and of that only £137 was for Noela. My total income from disability and civil service pension is only just over £10,000 so I now have a very tight budget plan :o Hence me keeping going on frugal grocery challenge into 2017 and having to make money each month from eBay sales :(

God that is shocking. My OH asked me the other day at which point do we put our dog down... I said when she has no quality of life.... but if I had this bill I would struggle to argue with him!

Sorry no time to read back.

DD has returned from a couple of days in Yorkshire. Her car has been vandalised while away:o It's hard to say what's happened to it but it looks like someone has been jumping on it or there's possibly been a couple fighting over the bonnet. She is devastated. It's a brand new car.
What I'm wondering is.....the windscreen is a mess....it's as if someone with trainers ingrained with gravel, has been kicking and scuffing the glass. Its a mess:o
Does anyone know if there's anything we can use to make good the glass?

    Thank you
