Hiya :santa2:
Yay, just got my replacement Orchard voucher :j:j0 -
Went to Wetherspoons last night before Charity Bingo.
I had a sirloin as Tuesday is steak offer day. Very nice & perfectly cooked
Fourp had Scampi chips & peas....
He received Scampi Chips & baked beans :eek::eek::eek:
Sent it back.
Came back on new cold plate, with baked beans sauce still over the Scampi :mad:
If we hadn't of been in a hurry - I would of sent it back again.. so wasted Scampi
I've complained to HO but I doubt they will acknowledge it
I had to do this regularly when DS was younger...he never liked beans and wouldn't eat anything with even the juice onfrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Well, the Laplanders have arrived.
I saw the flight had landed earlier on, and was quite puzzled for a moment till I realised I'd forgotten all about the time difference
Right, rabbits and hamsters and cat duty calling.
Have a lovely day all.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Amex Shop Small credits are coming in from the weekend - check your online accounts.
Sit tight as some may not be through from Sunday yet. I am missing a few, probably from shops where I didn't get email confirmation.
Typical my statement was produced yesterday - so account is in credit and so will still get the big DD taken .
Not a bad problem to have.

same has happened here, the cut off date is right on the cusp. All of mine came in apart from one which I was not convinced I'd had an email about so I messaged them and it was manually added yesterday. I also got credit for the One Stop shop I did.
I did quite a lot of research on small shops but in the end I went for super sensible buys
So my final spend was £53.88 for 5 small shops but I got £35 credited - I had 2 failed shops.
so for £18.88 true spend I got
2 bags of logs from the farm shop
2 lots of Andrex and 2 jars of Loyd Grossman
£11.10 of chicken breasts
£10.10 sausages
£10.70 belly port strips
The supermarkets around here are very mean with the yellow labels so to have this much meat in the freezer is a major achievement“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. The entire issue of who and when to tip is incredibly fraught“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Either way I have taken the opportunity to report you as I really don't believe that you are newly acquainted with the site or the thread.

I tip at least 10% when the service and food are good. Regardless of wether I am in a nice restaurant, wetherspoons or a garden centre cafe! When I get bad service we don't tip although our local pub has been renovated recently and we booked a month in advance , long story cut short the manager was/is an idiot so our table wasn't ready, Dd bf had to rearrange our table etc. The food was a bit crap tbh but they had only just reopened so we gave them the benefit of the doubt.
However the waiter was fantastic, funny, efficient and received a well earned £20 tip.
I don't know wether he received the promotion I recommended when I contacted head office because they didn't reply but I hope he wasn't forced to share his tips with the other members of staff.0 -

If we put the phone socket in the wrong place would you not complain. If that had been me I would have expected a fresh plate with everything correct, I can't stand baked beans or the sauce, and if they can't manage that then they should apologise and offer the whole meal for free. Too many people in this county just put up with poor service, complaints should serve to improve it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
