Went to Wetherspoons last night before Charity Bingo.
I had a sirloin as Tuesday is steak offer day. Very nice & perfectly cooked
Fourp had Scampi chips & peas....
He received Scampi Chips & baked beans :eek::eek::eek:
Sent it back.
Came back on new cold plate, with baked beans sauce still over the Scampi :mad:
If we hadn't of been in a hurry - I would of sent it back again.. so wasted Scampi

Amex Shop Small credits are coming in from the weekend - check your online accounts.
Sit tight as some may not be through from Sunday yet. I am missing a few, probably from shops where I didn't get email confirmation.
Typical my statement was produced yesterday - account is now in credit and so will still get the big DD taken .
Not a bad problem to have.

No ikea near me but certainly worth a look if you've got one near.
I wonder if you can 'buy' the tree and just leave it there?! I need to shop in IKEA next year...0 -

The reason we have such poor service in restaurants in the UK is that if our meal is not exactly as ordered we just put up and shut up rather than getting the problem sorted out
And whatever the problem I speak to whoever is the manager at the time and then write to HQ afterwards as they need to know exactly what happens in their restaurants“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
