Maybe you are right. I was going to go back in yesterday but didn't. What happened when she was horrible to my disables friend was it was a Sunday afternoon and this lady ( who has cerebral palsy and walks with a frame) had picked up 3 packs of reduced grapes ) and this supervisor walked up to her and removed 2 of the packs and told her she could only have 1! My friend was very upset so I walked around the store and told her that was an unacceptable way to behave and she should apologise. She said it was a misunderstanding but never apologised. My friend is in her 60's, on her own and a really sweet person. Her and a few others have been driven away from this store by the attitude of the staff. Lots of people locally go the 5 miles to the other T rather than shop in there.
My friend now shops at W, she catches the bus in every day and has a coffee with other people she has befriended whilst waiting for her bus home. Last year the Staff in W gave her a small bottle prosecco and some chocolates for being their favourite customer. She is lonely and her trips are the highlight of her day.
So that is the sort of people she picks on.
I think you are right my profile is high anyway so have nothing to lose. Will report back
rose so sorry you and your friend have been treated appallingly by this person. She sounds like a horrible bully:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
Please does anyone have an email or a contact webpage where I can contact for shopimum.
They have marked one of yesterday receipts as invalid as out of date - dated 08/12 and others as being invalid because they are blurry and a B & M as just invalid
I've noticed there is an id number with each one.
This phone I am using has no sim and no email account set up on it so if I just try to email it wants me to set up one“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I got my JL mailings just now as well. Looks like I got exactly the same vouchers! Ones in Chelmsford and London are no good to me, as I also live in Kent.:hello: My husband has JL card but he hasn't received any mailings for a long time. Oddly, it's hubby's card that we use when we shop instore (lots of small shops). My card is used mostly for online shopping for dearer items like electricals.
Another person from Kent here :j
I hope i get one of these through from JL this week, taking the children to London to see the lights at the weekend so these would be an added bonus :TChocolate always makes me feel better!0 -

SP do this with me - send the message but never remove any points.
I'm finding the print quite faint on a lot of receipts just lately.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

afternoon all - I am gift wrapped up and vaccumed and I have awarded myself a brew :j
One parcel from Amazon is still en route - dispatched on 07/12 and not due until 14/12  and the box I was shopping to parcel up is too small so I need to go on a box hunt
In the meantime
I've got 2 very nice bergamot and white musk candles in glass wrapped in robin decorative card for my sisters - they look quite luxurious. Only after I finished wrapping did I remember I did candles as well last year ... oh well
Eldest son and his GF - We wont see them until the new Year, no idea when so I have got a little bit of time to add a few more bits
Eldest son - I've not managed to get him to give me any ideas as to what he would like so these have been my ideas-
an echo dot and also the wine decanter with an opening on the side to pop in ice cubes as he does not like his wine warm or watered down.
GF - Boots No 7 illuminated mirror (as their bedroom is quite dim and I know she has to make up and look smart for work) (paid for with my Boots points as I didn't want them expiring) Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin (very nice bottle and quite square so easy to wrap) Superdrug light and lovey bath salts in a pretty tub
Flat - I've also got a sort of belated flat warming present. They have lots of weekend guests but not enough basic equipment so I've got a set of new pillows, pillow cases, towel 6 tumblers, basic crockery set (from Wilko as I had a gift voucher to use) and a set of pasta bowls
I am thinking of also getting them a nice Groupon/livingsocial meal deal for a Japanese restaurant in Brum but usually they only have 90 days usage so I have to wait until after Christmas to order this.
Eldest child and her BF - they have had huge amounts this year to help with the wedding costs so I don't think they are expecting very much but I am still getting nice presents.
Eldest child - she admired GFs watch and wanted a similar one so thats her main present, came from Amsterdam.
Also a Green and Blacks tasting box and a notebook
BF - cuff links with pheasants on and a matching green tie with peasants. The cuff links came from Marks in the sale very early in the year so I got a matching tie. Also a wooden box with a variety of whisky miniature bottles and a tasting glass - he went on a tasting recently so he is just discovering whisky.
I'd also like to get them a nice meal deal, something a bit quirky maybe but it has to be central London based, and the choice is over whelming and quite pricey. I wondered about the Ice Bar but its very dear ...
So I still need to add quite a few bits - maybe chocolates in nice shiny wrappers as I've got Christmas cellophane bags to decant them into so they look a bit more festive ...
Youngest son and his GF - floral notebook, bees lip balm, arran snood and gloves (very nice ones in Home Bargains looking very luxurious with card ethnic labels and little wooden stars)
Youngest son - Mountain warehouse navy fleece from Tesco.direct (he already lives in fleeces but I am probably on safe ground here) and the book which is stuck in the post.
I've also found on groupon/livingsocial an animal sanctuary near them with an entrance deal and a nice meal deal in a local arts and craft caf! - again I cant order and print these until the day I am ready to send off because of the 90 day expiry)
After a great deal of thought I've decided to box their gifts up and send them down this week - if I can find a suitable box.
Youngest son has cut himself off altogether now from us, 3 months since the last phone call. He is living his life so we have to let him get on with it.
OH - still stuck for ideas as he does not like anything I get him. I've got cherry liquor chocs and there is a nice Aldi coffee liquor bottle which I think he might like (technically he is not drinking so that's really for me) Might need to just ask him
so that's the state of play so far ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
