http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/waitrose-daily-half-price-special-offers-9th-19th-dec-9th-half-price-indian-food-2568762
Oh, you beat me to it Bubbs:)
I've also noticed that some of the half price things on offer on the 14th are on PYO, so some good savings for sausagemeat and chipolatas to go with the xmas dinner:T0 -
Thanks Savvy. Will pm you if there's a good glitch, though I'm not on here as regularly as others. Enjoy updating and thanks for all you do.
You didn't PM me:eek::eek:!:rotfl::rotfl: The Quorn is a good glitch.
As if I will enjoy the updating... thanks folks for delaying me again:rotfl:. I wasn't planning on going out today so I knew something like this would be bound to happen - I arrived here this afternoon and read from the last page. It was ChrisV's post mentioning some Quorn that drew my attention to it:T but I must thank the OP for this:T:T.
I've managed to pull together some APGs to make up my over £6 shop, after wasting my over £6+ womble the other week on some non-glitch items:( (but they managed to get more back than buying the Spag. Saus. whose glitch I missed would have given me). Somehow my unplanned shop came to the exact amount of the vouchers:eek::rotfl:. I was half-decided over some SP apples at 50p but replaced them with a Broccoli as that would give more back on this shop:rotfl:. SP apples at this stage, I concluded, would a waste - they are best bought alone later on a shop that isn't going to give an APG so as not to waste the better amount back (as a Broccoli gives) and, when not getting any APG, I certainly shan't buy as many as eight items:eek::rotfl::rotfl:!
Really we ought to know about these 'good' items though as sometimes it's good to know what's 'good' value in A to be able to go and spend a womble rather than paying for equivalents elsewhere. There's also some 50p pears I notice, which are Kids Pears and are an 8 pack, which may be good since Lidl's 1Kg punnets at 59p offers, when they come and go, turned out to contain 7 pears for me last time. However, Aldi's Everyday Essentials were 39p at one stage but have increased in price since. Based on number, it may be quite good getting the 50p pears in A. I suspect they won't be 50p for very long.0 -

Thanks Bubbs. I don't think so either and you are not too late as the recyling goes tomorrow morning and I shall be glad to be rid of my pile of mags!
The sparkling water is a useful filler and though I kept my two this time, I htink the next lot will go in the food bank.
I think that there was a 40p one off of some sort of milk, towards the end of the mag.0 -

A lot of the little dishes were cheaper in Morries but the Up&Go and the soup were cheaper in A. Got £1 brand match though had been expecting more as thought it would compare with A, not M.
But I'll get £14 back from Shopmummy, used 5 full price (£1.79) coupons for the U&G, 4 coupons for the Hipp, 30p soup, and two Ocean S for the sparkling water. Also the Batchelors will be free on COS. And a £3 wys £20 conditional spend and got another one too. So easily paid to shop and I'm happy, though if I had checked before I went out...
I asked the SA before using the T coupons, saying they were supposed to be one per transaction and if she preferred, I was happy to do that. She didn't prefer and was pleased I'd asked. Thanks to the OP who suggested that strategy some time ago.
I think you have overpaid here. M have the Little Dish Beef Chilli at £1.50. I think the N/A may be due to T's three stores being inadequate to pick up every version that M has. I have a store that has only one of them and even then it's not one of the 200g ones. However, M do have the full range elsewhere. I think that, despite T claiming "never pay more", you have paid 50p more on the brands than buying them in M.
I'd ring up T HQ CS and complain - the Little Dish product is even on m.com so it is quite clear that they have it at £1.50:
https://groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/getSearchProducts.do?clearTabs=yes&isFreshSearch=true&chosenSuggestionPosition=&entry=little+beef+chilli
It's 'only 50p' - but they may well, should well, offer more to you than just this for having unknowingly overpaid. The whole point of this is that they should do - and claim to do - the legwork for you, checking the prices of brands at M so that you never pay T more, but their system appears to have failed to do this and, indeed, you yourself have now been made aware you've overpaid on the Little Dish Chilli Beef.
I'm not convinced about that whole comp. though (I never am convinced, by anything:rotfl:!). I think the whole shop needs to be taken through several Ms to try to establish which of these items M does in fact have and what the comparison should be. I'm not convinced about the Ocean Spray products as I do not know that M does not have them - I'd need to check this instore and it could turn out that they are more expensive in M:shhh::silenced: or they might indeed not have them (although that could never be established without visiting all over 500 stores and, even then, they could have been there at a different time of day to when visited). I don't think M have the C&B Tomato soup and, as far as I'm aware, I don't recall seeing any Up & Gos in M.
I have these in M - from Avs M:Savvybuyer wrote: »Little Dish Fish Pie with Salmon & Pollock 12mth+ (200g)£2.50 £1.50:eek: Other meals would be much cheaper and, of course, Little Dish are lower weight: therefore costing more money by weight.

I have just the Shepherd's Pie in italics. I don't have the Beef Chilli in italics (to indicate Tvs M) - this was because I couldn't see the product in T online at the time I checked but this shouldn't matter as products should be compared if they are bought in T even if they are not on t.com. The product is on t.com but, for whatever reason, the TBG collectors have not got it for M.0 -

Not well done to the price collectors:( - it seems likely the case to me that they don't have a store with this in. This is £1 offer in M. Not many stores seem to have the Morliny products. They ought to check Leicester! Mind you, if they checked Leicester, they'd have picked up the Classic Hot Dogs version at incorrect £1:rotfl:. It's showing old price there when I checked. That's if they did not have it in more stores elsewhere at correct price £1.24.
I wonder if they check one of the stores in Preston:rotfl:, to pick up the Holland's individual pies which we have seen earlier and also some of the other 'more obscure' items that aren't in some Ms that don't have all this range. I don't think they have the Chicken Hot Dogs version in Preston - and... would have been no luck on the Holland's at 50p two offers ago as they were showing full price in Preston back then:rotfl::rotfl:. Items can just disappear haphazardly, like the Chicken Hot Dogs - could be OOS and SEL removed at some points and then may come into the stores later. Stores are always bringing new items (for them) in and losing old ones, just randomly depending on what happens to have been completely bought.
I'm also not convinced about the Tilda Long Grain Rice now - but then I never am:rotfl:!
Cucumber is also 45p each in M, so lost out on that being N/A: I can't imagine that not being in their stores - that's a technical error I think rather than a case of them not having the product.
Rolpek Garlic Sausage:think: - has anyone got this in their M? I would not be surprised if that turns up...
The Morliny Chicken version is even online, but the Classic ones are missing. However, like TBG we have seen not having the Little Dish Chilli Beef, they check instore so, indeed, they will be missing items that aren't in the stores they check even though they are on m.com. I have things missing - despite checking twelve stores!
The Morliny Chicken Hot Dogs are called Morliny Berlinki Z Kurczat 250g - it could otherwise be an issue with wording and they might not realise these are the product. I think anyway:rotfl: - I'm just going to Google "Kurczat" from Polish to see if it is - but I've already got down my own examination into them to see if they were Chicken ones. EDIT: Yep, I'm told "Kurczat" is "Chickens".0 -
