I thought so - M have Muller Bliss Corner Whipped Greek Style Yogurt - Strawberry (4x110g) but not Muller Simply Bliss Greek Style Whipped Yogurt - Strawberry (4x100g). As far as I am aware. So it looks like the price collectors are correct or that M does have 4x100g Strawberry but neither the price collectors nor me have seen it. Watch someone say they have it straight in their M now:rotfl:.
Watch someone say they have it in one of the stores I've visited on Monday and Wednesday:rotfl::rotfl::
Birmingham (Sheldon)
Leicester
Manchester (Chorlton)
Nottingham (Gamston)
Kirkby, Notts.
Burton upon Trent
Chester
Crewe
Loughborough
Newcastle under Lyme Town
Stoke
Winsford
I think (hope) not! I can't guarantee though as I haven't looked in every store. It could be that they have the product in the price collector's store but have no SEL for it - I had a problem on one of the Lemon ones the other week (don't worry about this as it is irrelevant) where I did have it in my store but didn't have a SEL for it, but since I'd already got it from elsewhere on a previous week and had another flavour in one of my other stores on the later date, I don't quite work the same way as I believe the collectors work but instead can imply the prices in case the collectors do have it in at least one of their stores.
Anyway, I am back now and now here at home for the rest of the week. There's a few changes from Wednesday, although maybe some of it is additional items that weren't in any of the six stores on Monday. My "huge selection of world foods" store turns out to be useless as I now have an additional item that wasn't in that store - turns up in my "useless" world foods store that doesn't have much of a range at all:rotfl:.
Savers Mozzarella has gone up to 47p (it had already gone up on Monday) and Savers Fish Fingers are also now 65p (were 60p) - unfortunately M has finally noticed that they are underpriced compared to T that put its price up to 65p months ago:( (they don't compare against T on the APG as far as I am aware since they disappeared from t.com when the price increase happened - they have been back on t.com for several months since but an infernal error meaning the APG doesn't pick them up). They might still continue compare against M at 60p until early next week, as I still had the majority of my stores showing 60p and the APG might have the same situation. The Pork Mince could also get £1.83 instead of the real price £2 - I have the majority of stores now showing the OOD price - however I doubt it will be compared against at all as there was a pack change in M a couple of months ago which I think will probably have upset any comparison, so probably N/A now.
Cadbury Festive Friends are now 75p in M - they were 2 for £1.50 on Monday so - no change there then:rotfl:. V. dear:eek:, given the weight has gone from 200g to 150g over the years. I suspect the Advent Calendars went onto RTC at some stage and have almost cleared out of M by now. I did not find any of them at all on Wednesday - I don't think I really thought about them at all on Monday tbh - they are most probably gone except for an odd one that might exist on an RTC shelf somewhere, at what lower price I do not know. The Airwick Mulled Wine Twin Mega Pack has gone from £3.50 on Monday (apparently) to £6 by Wednesday. I doubt that would have worked anyway, as SELs have been a little haphazard and not entirely clear that they relate to this item. I had it checked in one store on Monday and was told £6. I didn't trust that however as still seeing one £3.50 showing previously, so checked at another store, at the till again, and was this time told it was £3.50. I got the £6 response at the till in a store on Wednesday but, yet again, still didn't trust that so tried at the SS and it does scan at £6. So, it has now gone up. The Winalot Perfect Portion 4 pack had already I believe gone up from 75p to £1 on Monday. I believe I had a correct £1 for that with all six of my stores showing £1 on Monday, but still had a couple showing 75p on Wednesday so checked at an SS and they are £1. In any event, the 12 packs at £2 of course work out better, so I have information about those to add possibly to the list.
I think I need all of my 12 stores - and more. From the stores I have, I do not have any that have the Prima Coffee but have to go from online on that again, until I see a store that has it. I also miss the A&R Household Candles (I'd have to have a separate store for those) and the Osem Bamba Snacks (another different store needed for them:rotfl:). I have yet to find one store that has all the items in it! The Prima Coffee, unexpectedly, turned up at Wrexham for the first time I have ever seen it in that store, a few weeks ago when I was last there - given that it is a 'world foods'-type item, but Wrexham previously had no world foods aisle (of more 'obscure'/specialist items) and then all of a sudden had a whole new aisle! I need all of the stores above though, as I think that each one of them has at least one unique item (that I haven't got in any of the other stores at all, although it will be available elsewhere).
I think so - just thinking whether I could have done away with any of the stores and I've concluded I could not: Sheldon has the Great Foods and the Hitalturk Chicken Sausages that I needed to see were no longer on their offer; Leicester has many of the world foods that the others don't have but no good as Chorlton has Sympli Quick Yam Chunks (Leicester has only two of the three I have in that range); Nottingham Gamston has the RTC dog product SELs and I think it had one of the frozen Tahira Frankfurters (I miss the other version so need a further store in addition to my twelve to find that - I assume same price - in other words, not on offer:(); Kirkby has the Soap Dispensers; Burton has the Redoxon Triple Action product - Crewe has the other version that Burton didn't have:rotfl: - Chester, it turns out, now has the Seafood Sauce:D:D, big jar, that disappeared on me totally and I haven't seen it for many months - I now have it back but doubt it will work as it's probably not yet come back into M more generally. It could never have gone and may have been always somewhere, although I lost it totally from a different final store months ago. And I mean probably six months ago.
Loughborough has - something - can't think what - Newcastle, Staffs. has multican versions of John West tunas that I don't have elsewhere; Stoke has a twinpack of Soreen Malt Loaf, the Avita Pregnancy Test (in the pharmacy) and a lightbulb that I haven't seen anywhere else yet but which is online and Winsford is my remaining store with the Lockerbie Cheddar. So, yes, I need every one of the stores and I need three further for the Prima Coffee, A&R candles and the Osem Bamba Snacks.
I think to get everything that M regularly has I would need at least 18 stores, and even then some of the gardening products and plant pots may now be sporadic and not stocked in all of them - one of them here, two of them there but, in sum, all of them on my list probably still somewhere.
In fact, if I need the Cheese Knife I need to go back to Buxton:rotfl: - so, that's yet another store! The 75p RTC kitchen items have been generally gone from M for several months - however, I found just the Waiter's Corkscrew left at one store recently - so that is still around I believe and what will happen now, like the Cheese item, is that one item will be in one store here and, I suspect, in total, one M or another out of their 500+ will have one of the items, so that, in total, M still has all of them somewhere but nearly every store does not have any of them. If that makes sense. Same situation with some of the plant pots now. The fullness of my list will no longer appear by visiting one or two stores, which before may each have had the majority of them - now one or two items from the list of plants will be in one store but most of them have nothing. The Viola plant pot is still around somewhere, but most of my stores do not have it now! It's the same on the cheaper kitchen items - they have largely gone, but, I suspect, one store from 500 will piece together one of them and, in total, all of them will be found from using all 500+ stores even though almost no-one has anything anymore and where they are found, last time I found one hanging up in the butcher's aisle and not in the kitchen department. They are on random clipstrips in rare stores rather than being generally available now. But - it may be your store that still has a random one (or if very lucky two - or more:eek:_pale_:rotfl:) of them.
I have got the information that I have got and will start updating it all whenever I can. I will rely on online for the Prima Coffee again (not too bothered about that as I last physically saw it not too long ago), as well as needing online for the Bamba Snacks, although I will miss the A&R Household Candles if they have gone back on offer again. I have no idea whether they have or have not. The nearest stores I know with those are Southport and at least one of the stores in Manchester (can't remember which). I will not have the Halal snack if Sheldon (the only store I have relied on for this) has failed to show any mbuy offer again - last time I found them out with the offer at Milton Keynes but not able to visit there again just yet so having to rely on Sheldon: so, as far as I can see, straight 47p. (I would not be surprised if someone somewhere else finds them showing a valid 3 for £1 offer in some M though.) EDIT: And, yes, I need a further store:eek:, in addition to all this, to find the bigger pack of Matzo Crackers again. EDIT 2: And another one:eek::eek: for the Rakusen's butter and tins products that I will still be missing even after that:rotfl:. I think there may be some Halal products that I may have missing from the range that need to be found elsewhere (neither the "correct Matzo Crackers" store or the part-stock:((:rotfl:)-"Rakusen's" store will come up with that) - and of course the NUK Bottle Cleanser has totally disappeared on me so needs a further store beyond that extra one as the Halal store won't have that in it:rotfl::rotfl:. It's probably at least twenty stores now!
As if that's all clear:rotfl:. I'll update what I have as soon as I can!
The Hallowe'en items, at the very end of my list, are I suspect largely gone and I have virtually nothing at all in this week's stores now. However, each one of them may exist as the only item from within them that is on a specific RTC shelf somewhere and therefore they are remaining on the list. I have got a random one of the items in one of the stores on the RTC shelf - so, some other store, out of 500+, will have one of the others, and then one of them somewhere else and etc. They are generally gone now, but left on the list as someone will be able to find one of them - and someone else another of them - and may be at cheaper store-specific knockdowns now (or, sometimes, more expensive store-specific prices:rotfl:, and then need to use the normal BC for the "national" price, although hardly available at every place in the "nation" now:rotfl:).0 -
seriously! How the hell are you supposed to jump these obstacles? I'm almost in triple digit goes and i think I've cleared the first obstacle about 5 times!
hahahahaha
even this old man can jump and get the 1st 5 presents nearly every time. i get home at least 19/20
no bloody wins though.0 -
I've been reminded that it is now four years since I first started posted on the Elite threads! Many people have been here a lot longer however:rotfl:. So, it's now over five years of price collecting - although one of those times, I always remember it in October four years ago, was literally the eight items that I was buying in A later which was a year after I first started getting details - thanks to that Shredded Wheat box I bought on a targetted shop against T only to discover I lost out as M was quite a lot cheaper on that but dearer on other items bought against T. So with that, I became curious as to what was cheapest in M as well as what was comparable against there. I'd already been getting prices for over a year when I joined. This wasn't even the expansive range of items in my own store (or what I wrongly thought was expansive), just items I generally bought. I then moved onto here and got information about more items, going into areas that I didn't myself need to buy - I thought I had most things just in my own store, but, thanks eventually to get 'chucked out' of there and having to decamp to another store and then going elsewhere as I thought the security there were becoming too suspicious of me with me being there too often. Eventually, I went to another store as I was having trouble finding a few items one time and found further items there, and then went to another, and further items, and then just kept going over the next few weeks - it turned out I had not got nearly very much at all and it just expanded to more and more even since!
So, it's about 5 years 2 months since I began getting at least some M prices from instore. I've normally been consistent though occasionally on and off and not given up with it all yet - though I did need to miss out a couple of recent days as I was getting a bit fed up of it, every time, twice a week, it was getting too much but, having had the few days off, I'm back again with vigour. At least Wednesday's first store was less than half the length of time of Monday's:rotfl: - though it was lengthened a little due to not having an updated list and having to go through all my sheets from Monday to see what I needed. I could not have updated all that in a day though, and still haven't, and I think that's what was becoming too much in previous weeks doing both days of the week. So I might miss occasional ones out if Wednesday suffices anyway (but then that provides more change than even before:rotfl:). I think different stores and the change actually sees me going - rather than the same stores and little change each time, I actually get the variation and, when I need to go out to stores farther away, they seem to be getting me out of bed of the day so can't a bad thing:rotfl:! My boring local stores again and I just seem to want to sleep in:(:rotfl::rotfl:.
With that, I must get to bed now - I will probably sleep in:rotfl:, and then get up, do whatever I need, nice day if you can get it!, and do a bit of the updating later on in the day. This lot is going to take much of the week I think unfortunately to get fully updated. Wednesday has added under two pages to Monday, so it's not been bad! There will (probably!) not be much change next week, so hopefully won't be too bad (and, if it is, I am prepared for it, so it won't be too bad:cool:: I am prepared for anything they throw at me:D:rotfl: - it just takes 'forever and a day' to update it all if there is a lot:rotfl::rotfl:). There is a major change after 27th December (unusually offers expiring, that is last day, on a Tuesday) although I'm not sure what I'm doing between Christmas and New Year - not such what "resources" I have available to me at that time and whether reduced store hours etc. limit the ability to visit stores needed to check. So, I may catch up with the new prices on 28th December or maybe I will out of date (but knowing all these offers will have ended) until the first week of the New Year.
If my posts go quiet, I'm dealing with the updating of the list. I have had more to update in the past than I have this week, so it certainly will be possible to do, even if lengthy!
I'm putting up a sign now, with no disrespect intended, "Do not interrupt!". If people interrupt me, in normal life, I have to start all over from scratch:doh:, so, I need my lack of interruptions - which of course I will get here as I can simply ignore all your posts:rotfl:, until I catch up (or attempt to do so!) later:cool: - watch there be a big glitch on in my absence:rotfl: - and, it's nothing against anyone, but I don't really like people - they just make what come across as unwanted interruptions all the time (called "socialising":rotfl::rotfl:), they aren't really unwanted interruptions, they just come across that way and I'm anti-social:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. It's just - if I've got something to do, I like to do it and get it done without seeing a soul, and then, when it is done, I like to go out and socialise:cool:. I'm very nice face-to-face actually, down the pub - I am very relaxed and happy-go-lucky (people just sometimes see me in formal settings, such as work, and assume I'm straight-laced and stuck in the mud but... this is a false impression, as usual, as I am really not! It's simply that, when it's formal work, the work gets done and, when it's time to party, I party more than anyone else seems to do!_party_:dance::o:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).
Actually, you can 'interrupt', and please do, to PM me if there is a lot of glitching on, as otherwise I won't notice:o, but please don't all PM me at once:rotfl:! If one of you does so (or a few of you, hopefully not everyone:rotfl:), in the event of a glitch, it will attract my attention and won't be much of an interruption at all.:)
Anyway, see you later (I'm planning too far ahead:rotfl::D*)!.
*It does need to be planned weeks and weeks in advance though, with every last i dotted and t crossed as that's the way I do things:cool:.0 -
