Why do the energy companies ask you for meter readings and then send someone round to read the meter a few days after Ive submitted the readings. Its happened a few times now. Really fed up with it as its awkward for me and DH to read our meters due to disabilities. Don't they trust us

For a safety check (i.e. to see if you are fiddling the meter.)

Evening all. I've had a lovely evening at Prezzo with my rescue ladies, great food and such a laugh

But as I got out of car when I got home, I was bend double and had to shuffle left leg forward to walk as sciatica set in on my left side. Sat here with alternate heat and cold on my back :(

I probably binned it to be honest:rotfl:

My problem with this is where you kept getting the smarties tubes from TM. Possibly eating too many smarties so couldn't eat you custard me thinks ;)

If you have trouble taking a reading, have you tried taking a picture of the meter, then reading it from the picture? Maybe even use a 99p selfy stick.
