Neither of us spent anything so not sure if it is random?

OH and I both got them, OH has no spends on his card whereas I have some, so must be random or sent out in batches.

Sarahdol....Not sure if it is worth having it checked by Vax...This is what it says on their site....

    MACHINES OUTSIDE GUARANTEE

If you are outside the agreed period please contact our Helpline or visit our website to see what fantastic offers we have available for our existing customers.

**Please note a carriage charge applies to this service.

Alternatively for a period of up to one year outside of their guarantee period we can carry out 'out of warranty' repairs on Vax machines. If you would like us to take a look at your machine, simply contact the helpline and you will be advised of the estimated cost of repair. Credit/debit cards are welcome.

How long was the warranty though? If it is a mechanical failure it is perhaps worth arguing that it would reasonably be expected to last longer under consumer rights legislation - no doubt someone will be along with a link soon!).

Thankyou, I called Vax and they were not interested in it once they checked the date of warranty. They just tried telling me they could sell me certain others, ie the same one for dearer than what I paid for it. They never mentioned the advent calendar one they are offering today either :rotfl:

The warranty was 2 years and it ran out beginning of December.

Hello I have been reading through and give hugs to many who need and give hugs to those who don't- so in short everyone has hugs..
cjj - you stumbled at the hurdle last night but you got up brushed yourself down and survived to day albeit at work and then tears, but heyho you are keeping the tissue company in business - carry on girl and get over the hurdle tonight, try and rest and if you don't feel like eating u+g are a good alternative x
lejc- you too stumble at the hurdle but you land head first in the mud making everything dark and gloomy, but you are strong and you to get to the next hurdle, you get there its a struggle with all those muddy clothes but you do get over that hurdle and then clean yourself down. Christmas can be wonderful but if the truth been know it also can be the most painful time of the year for many....you cope, as snap would say, with a coat hanger smile :rotfl: that always makes me chuckle
How was the hestons dessert- I saw it in w the other day but didn't buy the meal deal.
Wendy- be brave try and tell work how it really is- easier said than done I know..but enough is enough.
Sarah- what an emotional time you have recently..phew! and a tough day today- did you get your tree up
Ive done enough rambling now- but I am concerned about the well being of all my elite friends and hoping all are as well as they can be - and welcome back ilgd.
There are many who are taking extra long coffee breaks and haven't popped in to say hello recently
Tweets, you've had it tough the last few weeks, but soon you will have a well earned break..how long 10 days ??
the temperature should improve over the next few days so all those with pain in their joints hopefully will improve, especially if the dampness goes.
    x

Hi, no I didnt get the tree up in the end, went for a lovely dog walk instead, that is my job tomorrow :rotfl::rotfl:

Are you sure she hasn't spent anything. :rotfl:

I bought stuff in the January sale and then nothing until few nets of choc coins at their last xmas event few weeks back and I got a voucher.

Mr TS has spent nothing all year and got nothing. Maybe they are just inviting the ladies as we are the ones who do the xmas shopping.

Of the various Little Dish meals that have £1.50 cb on shoppymum when bought in T, the following are comparing to £1.50 in Morries so they are FREEEEEEE

    Working
    Fish pie,
    cottage pie,
    bolognese
    shepherds pie

    Not working
    Chilli
    Chicken pie
    chicken risotto

Credit goes to the test shoppers on SCC :T
    https://www.facebook.com/couponsandcashback/photos/

    You tempted yet zippy? :rotfl:

These are now free on shoppymum rather than £1.50 cb. So if they still compare you can make a profit

Ends very very soon though but it might be extended

What time was u at M&S. I was there at 8.30 hoping to see some whoopsies, but nothing there. :(

It was town centre one so they shut at 5.30 possibly 6pm and do their reductions around 2.30pm/3pm. Most of the decent stuff gets snaffled then. Unless like yesterday veg/fruit left that goes 10p/20p around 5pm I think a bit after but not entirely sure when.

Not sure if that's much help...
