Good morning all, cloudy but dry here. Handy as we have some outside work today.HRT_dependant wrote: »good morning all
can I have some advise please
I have to arrange breakdown and recovery for car.
we have never bothered before but due caring for mum I have to make several long journeys a week and an getting nervous in case I break down.
have been looking at tcb but don't know which one to choose,
AA RAC or are any others better ?
all I want is one that gives the best response time and will mend at side of the road or take the car back home so we can arrange for our local garage to mend it,
we are in sussex
many thanks
HRT xx
The only thing I would say is we use the RAC because it is the policyholder that is insured as opposed to the car, meaning if you are stuck in another car that breaks down you can still call them out. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

A lovely well earned day off from work and I'm wide awake at 4.20am
My mum is having her operation today. It's been a very long few months waiting for today!
Hospital has wifi but it's pot luck as to whether anyone can get on or not. I'll be spending a lot of time today discussing my dads retirement with him and showing him the Elite ways
Morning all, hope everyone is well.
Hope the operation goes well DD & the elite masterclass too hehe xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Waiting in for two deliveries today. Neither is able to give me any indication of time
Hope that you have better luck than me. Stayed in all day yesterday for someone to collect my DGS's car seat. They didn't turn up. Nightmare time last week when the buckle wouldn't undo and then when it eventually undid, wouldn't re-buckle for the return journey. Phoned the company and had a prerecorded message to email as they weren't answering the phone as too busy. Emailed and got a reply that they will endeavour to reply within 5 working days!!0 -

Morning all
Hugs to anyone suffering this morning, it is not an easy time of year to cope with, physically or mentally ...
And its raining this morning, I thin k this is the heat wave we have been promised ....
I managed to get one solitary vest from M&S - the banner seems to be at the top of the page but nothing is removed when you get to checkout - oh well, very happy with one vest.
Off to Mr T later to collect an order so can anyone confirm that the Mr T list is the same as always
- 6 Hipp, 5 U&G, 4 soup plus any real shopping I need - must be something and I've got my cheese MOC to use
plus some sort of weird soup to go into the food bank trolley for COS
other than that its a wrapping and waiting for parcels to arrive day ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
