    I have Now TV. Is it the same sort of thing please?

    If you watch now tv on your phone/tablet/laptop the chromecast could transfer it to your tv

  • Good afternoon all

    MrsMac, glad you liked the crashing waves, the sea is a mighty and uncontrollable beast.

    Nipped in to T this morning as in the week I'd spied their organic butter would be reaching its date today - they wanted 75p this morning so left it and just popped back now and got all I wanted for 30p pack, plus roasting herbs 7p, and a chicken s/wich for 30p, job done.

    Hmm, thinking about it, I haven't had a bath in a while either, really must make more of my babysitting trips...

    DD has met his family now and they have several trips away planned. Looking promising. :)

    :rotfl::rotfl: men!
    And I though we were bad when it took us a month to decide on internal doors, then another two weeks to decide on the finish :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Men! I know the feeling.... our conversation about the door has been going on for a month. When I tell him to choose, he says it is my choice. When I show him what I like, he says 'nah... don't like it'..... I may be guilty of murder by the morning!

    It goes against my money saving brain too. After they accidentally failed to deliver an order I had yesterday, I almost cancelled my Christmas order, but he made up for it by having it delivered this morning instead and I got more than I paid for :cool:

    THAT is what service is all about. None of the flim flam we get from the supermarkets! With every extra penny in my book :D

    Nice one! Worth the day's wait then :D I'm intrigued now, what did you get extra?

    I used to work in a customer service environment and it always amazes me how so many big companies don't seem to realise how small gestures like this, and being treated well by CS, can make or break your relationship with them, and decide whether you'll ever deal with them again.

    I was tempted to get the Market Porter MSE offer but the only guarantee they offered was that they'd organise a full and rapid refund if it hadn't been delivered by 1pm Christmas Eve! As if there would be much in the way of turkeys in the shops by that point!:eek:

    Still looking for good quality white men's sports socks, any recommendations appreciated! Not my idea of a present, but they've been requested so needs must.

    Not sure if it's been posted already, but the praline seashells in Lidl are already discounted, then the 40% comes off if you can find the Christmas magazine coupon, so I make it £1.07 for a 250g box :D

    Butcher all the way for me this year. So far this year, every bit of meat I've had from them has been amazing so I'm giving them a go with the Christmas stuff too. Mines being delivered to Christmas Eve. Supporting local business AND getting much, much better quality, for me is worth spending the extra £'s :)

    I might try to limit the carbon footprint this year..... we may have duck... from the village pond!

    Saw some good ones in the ladies socks display at MS, so maybe they do similar in the men's dept?
