That's my thoughts too, we've always had good (if not cheap) food from him, so that bodes well. I notice Lidl have a turkey advert implying theirs are free-range, but that's only their fancy-pants ones, not the standard range. It's just the money-saving part of my brain doesn't like spending more than I need to, but I'll be going with the logic of 'get what you pay for'. It also allows me to stop off at the next-door cheese counter for a few 'essentials':drool::D

It goes against my money saving brain too. After they accidentally failed to deliver an order I had yesterday, I almost cancelled my Christmas order, but he made up for it by having it delivered this morning instead and I got more than I paid for

THAT is what service is all about. None of the flim flam we get from the supermarkets! With every extra penny in my book :D

Well we tried some things from the free selection boxes last night - OH had a crunchie and I had the chocolate buttons - what a crashing disappointment - tiny packs and indifferent tasting chocolate.
So the rest OH will be eating himself as I wont be.
unless the finger of fudge is worth eating ...

We have the 2 CDM bars - these will be emergency misery chocolate for when you dont care what you are eating :D

I am still going in search of the 50p chocolate oranges later :D

Just have to find a way of dropping it into conversation now on the rare occasions any of our offspring ring for a chat that I am now only eat Lindt, green and blacks or hotel chocolate or Tosco finest bar chocolate so if they want to bring a guilt present with them that is the choice :rotfl:

    Getting fussy mhoc :D
