It's time for everyone else to bang their head into a wall again, although I hope not literally or very seriously. I've called off M tomorrow as I've still not updated this week fully. So I'll continue with that through to Tuesday (not continuously obviously:rotfl: - I will have breaks at some stages) and may be putting already expired information onto the list. Barring any total technical breakdown of the APG system or some completely unexpected change, it will still work on Monday though, if it even works now. However I may be updating on Tuesday when it may have updated to new information:wall:. So, just to be aware that it will be last week's information and a few things may catch you out - just check the items you plan to buy against msm or m.com to see if my prices are still valid, assuming they are even on there. I'll try to catch up with this week after Wednesday. I think it's better just to do once a week this week - once again, I don't see much point of something that only lasts for two days and presses me to update everything in the one day in between. It may be the same situation the week after, although I am currently ready for Monday 5th December as I am expecting a lot of change that week (and I'll do 7th December, on current plans, to keep the rest of the week up to date). There will be some change next week, as opposed to this coming week, but, although I'll miss it on Monday (next week), the Wednesday next week will catch up with that - and then further change on 5th December may be quite a lot. Not a lot to cope with but just quite a few different ranges changing over offers.

Still looking for good quality white men's sports socks, any recommendations appreciated! Not my idea of a present, but they've been requested so needs must.

Not sure if it's been posted already, but the praline seashells in Lidl are already discounted, then the 40% comes off if you can find the Christmas magazine coupon, so I make it £1.07 for a 250g box :D

what about ones made from bamboo - have a look on Amazon.
I suppose if they are on someones wish list then thats exactly what they want but if you go for something unusual it at least shows you have upgraded the gift a bit :)

If they are sports socks, what about ordering from sockersports/sports direct..... they have some good names, and really are disposable price (which for sports socks it is what you need!)

I'd go for medium unless the person in question is very short.

I've also had to do an emergency shop this afternoon that took time away (and also took me time to ready get as well, perhaps it takes me longer to do that than the average person. Even if such a person ever exists:rotfl:).

The wombles seemed hopeless though. I've had one where they bought no mbuys at all (they spent £70), which I thought might be good as everything will be the same price and therefore 10% - unfortunately it offered just 66p:(. That was also against Sains.:(:( - you know things are bad when Sains comes out best:rotfl: - although, surprisingly, there are a small number of things that do seem best bought at S at the moment - such as frozen Cod Fish Fingers, S appears to be cheapest on - if we ignore RTC items at M that would be much better that presumably exist somewhere but have proven impossible for even me to find any stock of. The womble didn't work out very good as, although a lot of items were same price at M, the shopper then added some Bold liquid to the shop that 'saved', and therefore lost, quite a lot.

The other womble unexpectedly, but in no shocking way at all, works out better even though there are a couple of mbuys on the shop - and this time it is one item that helps:

    Vs M
    1x Vitabiotics Wellman 50+ 30 One-a-Day (30PK) £10.00 £8.87

Not for us obviously, just a womble.

I wish they hadn't bought these though.
    2x Ambrosia Devon Custard (1KG) £2.00 £3.70

    I thought so:
    1x Nescafe Original Instant Coffee (300G) £5.00 N/A

The straight 300g appears to have disappeared from M (though I never put it past it being a very significant likelihood that someone's M - or some Ms somewhere - still have it) and the 200g plus 50% extra free (=300g) is non-comparable. Judging by the price on the straight 200g, the 200g plus would have gone up in price (I had to imply that a couple of times ago on my own collections as none of my stores had 200g plus - and anyway that would default to buy in M as it's non-comparable. So I did need to imply in order to remove it from the list, thinking it has likely increased in price). Meanwhile, the straight 300g version may be around somewhere but doesn't compare (at present). Glad I'm on the same hymn sheet on the coffee as the APG (sort of).

That reminds me, there's some nice plump geese on the lake up the road :D And with some of our customers houses being out in the wilds I am sure I could just reach out of the car door and grab a pheasant or two :D

Get medium, if they are too big the over-the-top-extra-knickers- will need to be used!
