    Thanks HG, I'm bit shaky myself now she is back on the road. Her breakdown is included with her insurance, and she didn't have the number with, you know those things you tell them they should do and they don't....

    So I had to deal with it this end with old paperwork I found of her car insurance and ring the number you ring to report a claim as that was the only one open on a Sunday evening.

    She phoned to say car was making funny noise and we thought it was something to do with the repairs just done, exhaust etc. Anyway she started it again and then no noise so set off again and then the tearful phone call. :(
    At least these days everyone has a phone so she was able to call you for help. Hope it isn't too long before you get the call to say she's arrived safely. Next time she will remember to have the number with her, so a valuable lesson learned :o

    Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take a look. He's been known to put his toes through the end in one use, and there are no sports shops around there so a good supply would probably be appreciated. I've actually finished all my shopping for him, but somehow I've been charged with getting presents on behalf of other family members too! I should be charging personal shopper fees :rotfl:

    You could do my shopping for me!

    Can you get something for;

    2 x mothers
    Nephew aged 7
    Great nieces aged (12,8,3) (6 and 4) (4)
    4 adult boys (3 plus 1)
    1 adult girl (plus 1)
    Plus' mother
    2 girlfriends
    2 ex-girlfriends (including reindeer girl)

    The adult nephew/nieces will be getting bottle of wine each... so I need 22 bottle of wine please x

    Thanks
