Just for anyone interested, I bought 6 packs of the Danepak bacon, wish I hadn't, in T on Tues eve & I can't believe how much gunge comes out of it!
My dh got 4 packs of cooking bacon at 60p for a 500g pack. We had some of that on Wed for brekkie & it was lovely, no gunge at all. He's opened all the packs & frozen it in meal sized portions. He said you need to carefully go through all the packs & look for the best. Ours mostly consisted of proper rashers & part rashers.
Phew kept trying to get up the energy to get to T to get the danepak when the COS/CS offer was on. But such a palaver to get to my T compared to A or M that I never bothered. :o
What is the cooking bacon please. Is that from T too?
    tia :)

I second the cooking bacon. As you said, you have to go through it but you can get some really good packs. And it is nice bacon.

Excellent. I know the difference it made when I changed mine as the old lenses were scratched, I can only imagine the difference the surgery and new glasses has made for you :D

Just nipped into S - their Basics teabags are now 30p (from 40p) for 40, not as good a price as their original 20p, but moving in the right direction. :D

Also went to collect my Tresemme - the SA commented on the weight of the box....

Just the lady () I wanted to see.
Any idea which is easier, getting from Kings Cross to Borough Market, or from Waterloo to the market? TIA
