Just popping back to say hope DS recovers quickly Marmite bet you're glad he is home with you. Bubbs arm and shoulder pain - horrible I know and it makes you realise how much you actually use both. Hope your little friend gets better soon 3dogs and you will have years of cuddles.

Off to chase up one delivery and one collection that didn't happen yesterday. Still the Nail Buffer from Superdrug arrived this am - very nice especially for price. So thanks OP - squirrelled away for Dd's birthday later this month.:)

We haven't booked ours yet, umming and arring about where to go, so much easier just to book one a few days before you go, will have to wait and see what happens.

I quite like last minite bookings - once we booked and sailed in 10 days :) it does not give you time to go into melt down - the only annoyance was having to do a last minite hotel booking for the night before which was twice the normal rate :(

But at this time of the year our cattery gets full to bursting - last year it was full for over 5 weeks over the summer, we got extreme cabin fever knowing we were confined to base and no point in even looking at hotel websites and last minite deals lists ...
So last September I gave them all possible dates as far ahead as I could go into 2017 to make sure we had the dates we needed.

It's coming up to that time again so I've got to ring them and ask about available dates before I book anything next week
If we had continual sunshine for weeks on end I would not be getting itchy feet again ...

Just for anyone interested, I bought 6 packs of the Danepak bacon, wish I hadn't, in T on Tues eve & I can't believe how much gunge comes out of it!
My dh got 4 packs of cooking bacon at 60p for a 500g pack. We had some of that on Wed for brekkie & it was lovely, no gunge at all. He's opened all the packs & frozen it in meal sized portions. He said you need to carefully go through all the packs & look for the best. Ours mostly consisted of proper rashers & part rashers.

Hmmmm I might have to go on a road trip at some point but not today :)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
